Romi's Away Status

I've definitely been slow after the last month, which is at least partially burnout from the downtime we had. That said, I'm going to continue being slow for the next week, and from the 19th-26th I'll be away at Disney for a big family trip.

When I come back, you can expect to see me return to my full power.

I'm putting myself on hiatus for a little bit. Right now I just don't have energy for posting, although I'll still be around for (at least some) staffwork.

Slight (3-4 day) extension on this, just because I have a very busy weekend.

Remember when I said I was totally going to be around on monday? A big part of my time is participating in a big fandom event that was supposed to be done, fully finished, and posting this month. It was delayed a month because so many people asked for extensions, and we just had someone drop due to a family member with covid, so I'm pinch hitting. So.... delayed again.

Many, many days later... I'm ready! I'm back!

I've archived Valli, Zare, and Jackal for now. My focuses are on Baby Angelo and Vito, with big Angelo available as a supporting character in light of all the crime.

I'm going to be contacting people who I had current threads with to establish what's been happening with all of them.

I also have a want ad to explain Angelo's absence.

I'm sure this won't be any real surprise, but I'm retiring. My activity has been low for quite some time. I did have a brief resurgence in July/August, but at this point my drive to roleplay is effectively zero.

I still love SA, but I've fallen out of love with roleplaying, and my recent adoption of a parrot (and possibly soon to be two) has made me reconsider which hobbies I want to focus my time on.

I still wnat to see SA grow, and I'll still be around on the staff side of things (applications and otherwise), but I'm not going to be actively roleplaying at this point.

Maybe one day that drive will come back, but I'd rather be up front about it.
