Raziel walked along the beach, Alouette beside him, he turned to her and smiled, they were both bundled up against the cold, "thanks for comin." With his free hand he reached out and held her's, "were almost there."
Soon they came to a spot Raziel had found while flying around, an outcrop of rocks, hw he had already stocked it with firewood.
Absentminded humming followed Alouette as she walked alongside Raziel. It wasn't quite as cold as it could be, but both of them hadn't taken any chances, even though having to hide the necklace Raziel had gotten her for Christmas under a soft winter scarf was a bit disappointing. Still, she was enjoying herself so far, the walk down the beach filling Alouette with a sense of contentment; she always felt so happy whenever they were together.
With a wide smile, she shook her head, the bridge of her nose gaining a cherry red color that she would adamantly insist was from the cool breeze as she gently squeezed Raziel's hand. "You know I love spending time with you, Razzy." She hummed. Her eyes widened as she spotted the place he had been leading her to, a musically soft laugh falling from her lips. "Oh, it's so perfect~!" She all but squealed, rushing forward and tugging him the last few feet to the little protected area.
He laughed a bit as she pulled him into the area, he knew she'd like it. He set their picnic basket on the ground, lifting her hand he kissed it before releaseing it and snd quickly gathering the wood and setting it ablaze with his powers, "this should keep us warm."
He spreas out a blanket fir them to sit on, and gestured for her to take a seat. Oce both seated he smiled at her, "you look beautiful," spending time with her had been great, he guessed they officially became a couple at the mansion whe he kissed her.
He wrapped an arm around her waist, "you really are amazing," he smiled, "you'd have to be to deal with me," he chuckled a bit. "I guess I never asked officially, but do you think you could put up with me?...as a boyfriend that is."
A sweet smile lit up Alouette's features at the soft kiss to her hand, though she quickly tried hiding it by rolling her eyes and muttering a few insults under her breath. Still, it was easy to pinpoint the unending fondness she had for this boy, and just as easy to see that she cared for him deeply. She watched with happy eyes as Raziel set everything up, settling gracefully on the blanket and instinctively scooting closer towards him, once more marveling at the spot he had managed to snag- it truly was wonderful, sheltering them from the sea breeze and offering them privacy while not completely cutting them off from the rest of the world.
She paused in her observations to blink slowly at Raziel, a bright red blush tinting her delicate skin. Quickly murmuring a quiet thank you out of fear that he would think she was taking the compliment badly, she fidgeted where she sat, trying valiantly to hide how flustered his words made her. Raziel seemed intent on unraveling her hastily flung up barriers, however, and soon she found herself even closer to him, his arm around her waist. It was odd, how comfortably safe he could make her feel with that simple motion, but she was set on basking in it all the same.
And then, a question asked that had Alouette's heart racing. Sure, Raziel had taken her first kiss- not that she minded, oh not at all-, and there were obvious feelings between the two of them, but this...
This was official.
And Alouette found that she wanted to say yes- to allow herself to be Raziel's girlfriend-, so she did.
"I... yes." The word came out in soft French, a breathless, delicately hopeful tone that was so Alouette it was adorable. Then, she backtracked, not wanting to seem too eager; it was clear, however, that she was infinitely happy, a brightness to her eyes that not even their previous encounters had brought. "I-I mean, someone has to make sure you don't get lost, idiot. There's still stuff you're confused about, after all, so you need someone to keep track of you. But... I'd be honored if it could be me to stay by your side." The last part was soft, quiet, just like her initial answer.
Oh, she had really fallen hard, for all that she tried to cover it up.

He smiled brightly when she said yes, and chuckled by her next comment, "thank you," he said simply, his gratitude can be heard in his voice.
He snugged her close, "you really are amazing," his smile never left his face. He chuckled again, "wasn't all that long ago we were strangers, me having just woken up from that crystal," needless to say it had been an odd way for a couple to meet.
He grabbed the basket and set front of them, as if preparing to pull the food out, but then stopped. He tapped his chin as if thinking, "pretty sure I forgot something," he grinned, "oh yea....this," in a flash he wrapped both arms around her, and kissed her. He held this kiss for a bit before pulling back and smilling at her.
Rolling her eyes, Alouette tried to hide how moved she felt at the gratitude in his voice. Raziel really was too sweet, but it was just one of those things that she liked about him. She listened wholeheartedly to his words, another one of those warm laughs startled from her. "That was certainly a meeting you don't forget easily. For all that those scientists were unhappy with me, I'm glad I wandered in when I did." It felt odd, to think of where she would be if she hadn't met Raziel, and something she didn't really want to ponder anyway.
She had just started to wonder what he'd brought for them to eat when he mentioned forgetting something, Alouette's brow furrowing lightly in confusion. Hopefully it wouldn't be the dessert, Razzy knew she loved sweets-
Her heart practically stopped for a good moment, her thoughts a mess as Raziel kissed her for the second time. She all but melted into his taller frame, returning the kiss until they both pulled away. A cherry red blush colored Alouette's cheeks, offering him a dazzling smile even as her heart continued to stutter in somersaults beneath her chest.
"You... You idiot!" She hissed after a few moments, when she'd gathered her thoughts, though the utterly content shine in her eyes showed that she wasn't truly upset. "I fell for that!"
He grinned and chuckled, "sorry couldn't help myself." He flipped opened the basked still chuckling a bit, "I brought some food," inside was a collection of sandwiches, snacks and of course sweets. He gave her a little wink, "of course I didn't forget your sweet tooth."
He pulled out of some of the food and set it on a napkin for her, "I wish I could say I made this, but I cant cook," he smiled, "I sorta, accidentally may have.....nearly caught my dorm on fire trying to cook for you," a slighly embarrassed look crossed his face, "so I got these at that bakery you like."
He pulled out a bit of food for himself, "I wanted to make this perfect, our first date." He smiled and chuckled, "but if you're here, I think it's always perfect." He moved close her again and leaned in close, "thank you for everything," he said in a half whisper.
"Of course you couldn't." She muttered to herself with a roll of her eyes, but a small, unendingly fond smile tugged at her lips regardless. She perked up at the mention of food, peering into the basket and grinning happily. Shooting Raziel a light-hearted scowl, she huffed mock indignantly. "One time- one time- I drag you into that bakery, and now I never hear the end of it." She teased in return; she fully acknowledged her sweet tooth, and while most girls her age worried over their figures and what they age, she loved sweets and pastries way too much to give them up. She supposed it was a side effect of being absolutely spoiled by her parents and taken to expensive restaurants that served wonderful desserts, she thought with a mental shrug.
She murmured a soft thank you as Raziel set up her portion, blinking at him when he admitted, rather sheepishly, to almost burning down the building. "Oh Razzy." She sighed, the sound the epitome of fond exasperation. "I'm glad you weren't hurt, though I really appreciate the effort." Here, she leaned over to place a gentle kiss to his jawline, smiling sweetly at his proclamation.
Of course, she blushed soon after, the cherry red color traveling to even the tips of her ears as he leaned in closer. "Y-You... I mean..." She looked away for a moment, visibly flustered with a blossoming smile on her features. "Y... You're really an idiot sometimes, and you can be so frustrating because you like to tease me, but... but you're also so sweet and kind and gentle and... I'm just glad that I can be with you." She ended in a whisper before she continued to embarrass herself with her flustered rambling, peeking through her eyelashes at Raziel to gauge his reaction.
He smiled, "I know you love those pastries," his smiled turned to a grin, "quite the sweat tooth," he kissed her cheek, "maybe that's why you're so sweet in general." It was odd, they knew each other so well.
He grinned as she kissed his jaw, "I think I'm still gonna try and learn how to cook though," he chuckled, "I want to make you a romantic dinner, something special. You deserve something special."
He listened to her words, every single one, and he smiled softly, a smile that showed his gratitude, "and you're the kindest person I know, thaough you try and hide it," he chuckled a bit, "the way you pretend to be angry, which is incredibly adorable." He took her hand and kissed it, "you make every moment truly amazing, I can't imagine life without you."
Hiding another smile at the kiss to her cheek, Alouette's features pulled into a good-natured scowl. "Oh, you're such a flatterer." Still, his words warmed her heart, secretly glad he didn't find her love of sweets weird or too much. She wouldn't have stopped eating them if he had, but it was still a relief to know that Raziel simply took it in stride as a part of her. Hell, he even actively spoiled her as well, knowing of her favorite bakery and what she liked. He really was so kind to her. "Alright, so as long as you get at least someone to help. Can't have you getting hurt, yeah?" She muttered, trying to hide how pleased it made her that he was willing to learn how to cook just for her.
Her blush was not disappearing anytime soon, especially with Raziel's continued admittances. He really knew what to say to make her feel special. "I... I'm not adorable." She huffed under her breath, rolling her eyes once more to hide her embarrassment. "I'm glad things ended up like this. Love you." She ended in whispered French, tentatively leaning in for another kiss and growing more confident after a few moments, then pulling away to smile shyly at him. "Now, we should eat; no need to waste all the food you brought!"
