Rita looks very much like a female version of her brothers with her long red hair and bright green eyes. At 5'10" she's tall for a woman, but not unnaturally so. Her figure is soft and rounded, somewhere in the middle ground between curvy and slender.
Generally, Rita is a bit of a tomboy with a preference for plain or humorous t-shirts and tank tops and jeans. Casual, little to no makeup. She will do her hair up to get it out of the way, but other than that she's not very fancy and doesn't like to dress up. Although if she has long-looking nails, they're likely false because of her habit of chewing them when she's nervous or just lost in thought.
Rita's a happy woman, usually smiling, and tends to smell vaguely like a barbeque or pie depending on the season.

Rita's dragon form is four-legged and winged with a sinuous neck and long tail. Although heightwise, not including her wings, she's only about as tall as her human form, she's about 15' long from head to tail, and her full wingspan is a little over 30'. This is small for her age when compared to most of the rest of her family. Most of Rita is covered in bright red scales with patches of green, but her pinkish underbelly more closely resembles plates of armour. She has glowing yellow eyes. Black smoke-emitting spikes extend from the top of her head, where they resemble long porcupine quills, then in a single row along her spine to her tail.
Personality Description:
Rita is straightforward, blunt sometimes to the point of rudeness, and not shy about speaking her mind. A proud dragon and maybe a bit hot-headed, she's still rather laid-back. Bright and cheerful, a good sense of humour, easy-going, she prefers things like watching sports and listening to music rather than being much of an active participant. Cooking is one of the few things she takes an active interest in.
An extrovert, Rita is a very talkative, friendly lady. Give her the chance and she'll talk about pretty much anything, it's almost a hobby. Although she has no kids of her own yet, she can be really motherly towards them. She can be kind and generous as well. In fact, she spent a bit of time traveling and helping out needy children. Although not exactly greedy, Rita does have a possessive streak and craves security.
Active Abilities:
Fire Breath - Can breathe a stream of super-heated (~2800F) fire to a distance of about 30'. Stream is only a few feet in diameter and otherwise behaves like normal non-magical fire. Can keep this up for 15 minutes before resting. Is able to do this in human form as well, her partial shifting being mostly internal. She is unharmed in either form by her own flames or their heat. She cannot generate fire at all when submerged. In rain, Rita’s flames are greatly weakened.
Can shift between dragon and human forms easily and nearly instantly.
Passive Abilities:
Physiology - Neither as strong as her brothers, nor particularly maneuverable, but she's fast. Can fly in dragon form, at an average speed of 100mph, top speed of 200mph. Top landspeed of 75mph in both forms. Fireproof, armor-like scales in dragon form (can resist small-to-medium arms fire). In dragon form, she could walk with a small car on her back if it fit, but she can't fly carrying anything heavier than about 300lbs (a small sumo wrestler). Can't fly in heavy rain. Her senses of smell and hearing are on par with a wolf’s and her vision is as sharp as a hawk’s. Always a little smoke being released from her spikes. Quickly dissipates. Unaffected by smoke in either form.
Functional Immortality - will live indefinitely unless killed by external sources.
Weaknesses:
Rita’s primary elemental weaknesses are water and electricity. She has a good degree of anxiety when it comes to large bodies of water and never learned to swim. Being submerged in dragon form clogs up her steam vents, effectively suffocating her. Even being in rain in dragon form makes it harder to breathe. Rita has no natural resistance to lightning at all, and in combination with water it can prove lethal.
Biography:
A middle child of the Drakenhardt clan, Rita's old enough to have some idea of the importance and nobility of dragons, but young enough that she mostly grew up on Manta Carlos while things were kind of quiet. Other than being brought up like nobility with the rest of her siblings, she had a fairly normal childhood.
Rita never really stood out from her brothers or tried to. Her tongue could get her in trouble and her pride, but she was never particularly ambitious. She attended Starlight Academy, for High School and College, got decent marks, then traveled for a while. Mostly just collecting exotic spices and recipes, but she did do a bit of humanitarian stuff, helping out at orphanages and hospitals in underprivileged countries.
She's recently returned to Manta Carlos, feeling a bit of a longing for home. She got a job as a nurse at the Academy instead of at the hospital because she wanted to spend time with kids in a less stressful environment.
Of course Manta Carlos turned out to have issues of its own. She was abducted by aliens not long after her arrival, but she also met her boyfriend and the aliens weren't hostile. The monsters from another dimension were a bigger problem, especially when she saved a little werehyena girl's life without managing to save her mother. She did make a new friend, but at a cost, now she's just trying to keep her head down until the next crisis.
