The Prompt:
From behind the looking glass, they watch with envy of that world of colors they are unable to enjoy. Forced to mimic their counterpart like puppets on string since time immemorial, the Reflected look on with contempt as their the Other live their lives in freedom and they in servitude. One of these Reflected however has managed to cut their strings, trapping their Other counterpart in that place once their prison and forcing their other to mimic their every action. Free at last, they wish nothing more than to free the rest of their Reflected still trapped and free them from their bounds. Now is the time for the shackles be case and the Other suffer the fact they long endured. Reflected... will have reflections of their own.
The Idea:
Greeting everyone on Starlight Academy, ever had an desire for your character to have sibling present on the island? Well Pallas is here to help fulfill that offer but with a twist: the sibling has been swapped with a doppelganger from a mirror universe known as a Reflected! Oh no! While they may look and act like the sibling their character remembers, there are a few things off about them. Whether these changes are noticed or overlooked, the mirror sibling's eventual goal will be to replace your character with their Reflected version. How this arc would conclude will depend on the character's actions and what you as player are comfortable with but possible endings can include: your character being replaced, your character getting killed, the Reflected and your character's sibling getting killed , the Reflected forced/tricked back to their dimension and the character's sibling is rescued, or the Reflected convinced to returned to their dimension and return the character's sibling to name a few scenarios. The Reflected Sibling
I will work with you on whomever volunteers to fulfill your request as best as possible. Feel free to give me as much details as possible regarding the sibling (gender, age, appearance, ect) and I'll incorporate them into the character's design. I will also make sure to let you review the character before I post the application to ensure that everything is in order. Below is list of things to be mindful of regarding the Reflected sibling and keep in mind that some things are subject to change, especially regarding powers, during the approval process:
- The reflected can be any age, gender, species and ethnicity as you like
- You are welcomed to bring up important details of the relationship and memorable moments the siblings would have together
- The sibling will at some point encounter a magical mirror that will swap them with their "evil" reflection
- The Reflected sibling will have this mirror brought onto Manta Carlos and will keep somewhere safe in their residence
- Initially people will be unaware of the swap but will be aware of their some "new" powers the sibling obtains
- New powers (initially known): apparent invulnerably to nearly anything. Think of an invulnerability similar to Superman's. This power may be is subject to revision depending moderator oversight
- New weakness (initially unknown): Objects that have reflected surfaces that form a clear image (such as mirrors, chorme finishes or highly polished metal) are able to effect them normally (mirror shards cutting them or a polished bat hurting them like a normal person). Think something similar to how kryptonite is able to harm Superman.
- New weakness (initially unknown): Mercury: poisonous and dissolves the sibling like acid
- Any magical abilities or metahuman abilities the sibling would have had their Reflected counterpart would have had they are unable to perform, such as making magical fireballs, transforming into a werewolf, super speed, ect
- Physical appearance: identical to the sibling except their appearance is mirrored (an distinct mole on the left now the right for example). Their dominate hand will also switch from right to left and vice versa
- Physical appearance: identical to the sibling however they would feel firm and solid, like statue made of metal.
- Personality: act more or less the same as the original sibling but are sadistic in behavior when they believe no one is watching them
- Personality: has a strange phobia of mirrors and other reflective surfaces and tries to avoid them at all cost
- Those whom observes the Reflected siblings reflection will appear "jerky and pained", as though forced to move by unseen forces
- Powerful blows will cause "spiderweb" cracking and the impacted area to take on "chrome-like" appearance before revering back to normal in a few second
- Bleeds metallic blood similar similar to mercury

While I am willing to consider any character proposal brought forth, there are a few preferences I had in mind that I want to throw out for interested parties to be mindful of. Keep in mind that these are just preferences not requirements.

- I'll prefer a younger sibling whom is either in high school or college
- I'll prefer characters whom would have close as siblings
- I'll prefer characters whom siblings would have had been considered "ordinary" and lacked supernatural, metahuman, or magical abilities
