Resting after a long journey

Chimaras sighed, "My last place of residance was attacked by an old enemy of the school." Chimaras looked at her hands, "I would have fought to the death if there were more people willing to sacrifice themselves so that the Headmistress could get further away from the shadow... But I didn't because there were only two others that wanted to die for the Headmistress. And they told me to flee, so I did. The last I saw of them was the shadow swarming around them and thier skillful efforts to hold off the shadow." In parts of this story, Chimaras lied to cover up her fear of death for she was trained to never reveal that fear.

Enelya gasped, "Your from DCA?! Oh my goodness! Well at least you got out alive... I heard terrible things that happened there. It's a miracle all the students who did survive." She nodded, and her face was soft.

Chimaras fell back on to the bed and sighed, "I only survived because it was in my training. Avoiding attacks... Slipping past enimies without getting noticed... And the most grousome of all... Killing in silence..."

She looked at her plainly, "We do what we can to survive... So are you in here for wounds?" She looked at her, looking for gashes, or scraps, something that would indicate a hospital visit. Personally, Enelya hated hospitals, they were so bland, and were in desparate need of color.

"I've got no wounds. I just came here to rest... And maybe make a few friends." Chimaras said quietly. "Will you be my friend?"

A big grin spread across Enelya's face. "Of course I will be your friend." She continued to smile, and she smoothed the sheets on Chimaras' bed. "You'd better get some rest though if your tired. I hope I haven't bothered you too much!" She laughed a little, realizing that she was preventing her from sleeping or however she had decided to rest.

"YAY!!! A friend!!!" Chimaras said happily and comically. Then she answered the rest of what Enelya said, "You may stay if you wish. The company of a friend is in it self, soothing."

Enelya joined her with one of her musical laughs, and slapped her knee. As she clutched her sides, she nodded, "I'll be more than happy to stay if you wish."

Chimaras heard something unusual. She jumped up onto the wall and from there, onto the ceiling. With her training, she was able to hold herself on the ceiling for some time. Once there, she looked around, but didn't see any strange business going on below her. She let go and landed lightly on the bed. She looked across at Enelya, "Sorry ablout that. I guess that I'm still a bit jerky from my recient experiances."

Enelya looked up, and giggled, some people were so jumpy. She supposed she had the right to be though, coming from DCA. Enelya held a kind smile and her purple eyes gleamed. Enelya put a soft hand on Chimara's shoulder, and nodded.

"It's fine, but I doubt anything will happen in a hospital. Besides, nothing happens here anyways. Things are fairly peaceful..."
