Katie could only blankly stare at Vito as he asked about her abilities. Healing magic wasn't that specialized, was it? Her healing was more general if anything.

"Umm.. I guess it would be abilities similar to magic?" Katie offered. "I have healing magic, so I can heal peoples injuries. Right now it's really limited to only cuts and small injuries.." she said trailing off, thankfully she hadn't had to deal with any serious injuries yet, but she still feared that she wouldn't be ready for when that day came. That whole Mertown adventure still weighed on her.

Hm. Vito didn't answer right away, obviously taking his time to consider what had been said. Part of that was filtering things through his understanding of magic, compared to the understanding of the world he was in then. They were two very different things, one rigid and structured and the other so amorphous it was difficult to even identify.

"I would suspect that most books on magical healing might be difficult to apply to your situation. Are you casting spells, or laying on hands, or... well, what is the method by which you're applying healing? I might recommend a book of anatomy--a better understanding of how the human body heals itself might aid your attempts to assist it."
