Max saw the two talking. She ran up to them, smiling. "Hi. I'm Max. actually its Maxine but I hate that. So call me Max. My older sister, Josie goes here. Dunno if you've met her. I love to talk. Just to let you know."
Bobby had been about to respond to Allie's question when Max ran up. As she babbled on, he just stared at her; he'd never met someone who said more than a hundred words in less than ten seconds. And so he stared. "Uh - hullo."
Bobby cocked an eyebrow. "Well, that's a shame; see, I kinda like girls. And you seem just my type - save for the chatty wit, o' course." He winked and grinned, then turned to Allie. "On the other hand, ye ain't so bad lookin' yerself."
"Oh, no, lass; I jus' scare the bejeezus outta 'em, that's all." He grinned and said, "And anyway, this one don't scare too easy." He indicated Allie with his thumb and winked at her. "I like her."
Allie blushed... "So Maxine, you like to talk..." She smiled... "But can you talk when your miles away?" Allie said smiling... She just wanted her to ask why....
