Relaxing

It was a warm, sunny Spring day and the grass only held a minimal amount of dew; as he lay on his back, looking up at the sky contentedly, Bobby wondered who else liked this kind of day as much as he did. It was warm, though not too warm, and perfect weather for a game of baseball. The only thing was, there was no local baseball field; still, he could always have some fun. He grinned at the thought of scaring someone out of their wits, pouncing on them and roaring in the form of a tiger. Oh, how he loved that kind of thing.

Allie walked on the lawn wind blowing around her as she walked... She had fun doing this but she didn't make herself look freaky but she thought about it... She saw the boy about the same age as her... She didn't know him but who cared.... She threw a big wind burst at him...

That was odd...oh, well; weather was weather. It was early Spring, after all; sudden gusts of wind were to be expected. Standing up and stretching, Bobby grinned and decided to go for a quick run. He morphed into a grizzly and would have grinned if he could have, imagining the look on some people's faces when they saw a big ol' grizzly barreling toward them at about thirty miles an hour. He turned around and saw someone walking toward him; oddly enough, the wind seemed to be blowing around her without affecting anyone (or anything) else. Strange. Maybe he'd try to scare her...

Allie's mind was almost oblivious to anything else now... her mind wondered....

Oh, good; she wasn't paying attention. Bobby ran off and doubled back, sneaking up on the girl; when he was right behind her, he reared up and roared like nothing you would believe.

Allie stood still... She heard a roar like a bear behind her... She slowly turned to see a bear in front of her! She realized that the best thing to do was stand there... Her heart raced... Then she remembered her voice! She began to sing a sweet low melody...

Bobby stared down his long snout at her; he stood at least six heads taller than her in his grizzly form, but she was - singing? Not running, not screaming, not fainting or breaking out in a cold sweat - singing. He reverted to his human form and continued to stare quizically at her. "You know, that is the weirdest response to that I've ever gotten."

Allie laughed... "So your only a human." She laughed... "Well I guess I deserve that for the wind burst.."

Bobby grinned. "Aye, but you're not such a scaredy cat - are ya?" He shrugged. "Anyway, Bobby's the name. And you?"
