Relaxation?

The Lounge was such a relaxed, calm place. It had TVs... It had couches.. It had these really huge chairs that were like mini-couches... It had... Beanbags! Beanbags were so funny. They were like deformed chairs. Haha! See? It's funny.

There were yellow beanbags, pink beanbags, orange couches, pink chairs, red chairs, pink TVs, more pink TVs, pink walls, pink-- Hold on.. Isn't that a bit much? Red and orange and yellow don't fit! It's a -pink- room!

..Well, it may not have been pink -before-. But... When Bello walked in and saw the boring, horrible atmosphere... What else could she do? I mean, she -could- clone herself, after all. Even if it was just one; that one, would help her out. And it did, because they finished painting and replaced the furniture. Talk about efficiency.

Bello's clones were soon gone. Well, except for one, of course: Carino, who had just run in. Even though it was really two of the same person in the room, Bello and Carino perfected the act of being natural siblings. It was really like talking to another friend. And, by Bello changing her appearance in her clone, it just made it more believable for them.

Er... For her. Him. It. Them. Whatever.

So, Bello plopped down onto a beanbag, twirling the remote control into her hands. She yawned, almost cat-like, as she turned the TV on. "What's on TV today~?" She said, flipping through the channels.

The albino-looking boy sighed, he, as usual, had no class and was horrifically bored. He couldn't go to his dorm, nor the library, limiting his places to relax and read something. He had never visited the student lounge, but heard many good things about it, comfy beanbag chairs and a TV with something good usually on. Unfortunately, Ben was socially awkward and didn't like being in small rooms with lots of people. He hoped he could get in the lounge when very few people were in as well.

Benjamin turned the corner to head into the lounge, having no knowledge of what was awaiting him. As soon as his red eyes saw the bright pink room, he covered them and cringed in pain. Although not really an albino, his eyes were just as weak and sensitive. The bright pink room hurt his eyes like nothing he ever felt before, compelling him to run away in pain. However, he made himself adapt to the horribly colored area. Why the hell was the room pink!? Whoever decorated the room needed to be slightly more considerate. In addition, he could vaguely smell paint, which made his agony worse. Ben was a strong boy though, some room wouldn't defeat him!

Not even paying attention to the siblings, Ben sat down in a beanbag chair and pulled out a manga. Hopefully they could find something good to watch while he read, the boy always enjoyed watching TV while reading. His eyes were slowly adapting to the bright room, it was like staring into the sun for normal people. He sighed, his psychic powers, although horrifically powerful, made his body frail and weak. He felt sorry for humans actually born with albinism, though he himself had no choice either. By the time he realized his powers caused his artificial albinism, it was far too late for anyone to do anything.

Dorn was in very deep thoughts today, or more he was reading a rather complicated book he found in the library. He was holding it in his hands and was reading at the same time as he was walking. He had been in the launge before from time to time when he wanted to watch tv or doing some homework with Nikki. As he walked into the room Dorn in fact did not even notice the changes right away since he was to busy reading. But he stopped as a smell of pain came to his nose.

Then he lowered the book and looked around, for a few moment he did not notice the difference but then he frowned a little, he did not have anything against pink and in fact he liked that color so he did not say anything about that matter. There was just three more people in the room other then him, a guy with white hair, a blond boy and a blond girl. His guess right away was that they where siblings since they looked much alike. Dorn looked at the time and sighed a little, then he walked and picked out a glass that he filled with water. He then made his way back though the room and sat down in a pink beanbag in front of the tv. He placed the book on the floor next to him and then he picked out the white bottle with medicin. He picked out a pill and examined it for a moment with a slight dislike...he hated these things! He then swallowed it down with some water and made a rather weird face as he did this feat. His eyes moved to the TV. "Always something nice on Disney Channal" he said with a friendly voice since it looked like the girl did not really have her mind set on what to watch.

Cole flicked his black hair to the side, pulling an apple from his right front pocket, previously bulging with the perfectly red fruit. He pressed a thumb into it, frowning as it sank with little resistance, not having that delightful 'crunch' he loves. Frowning for a second, he focused on the apple. He could feel the change, pressing again. He felt hundreds of little giving feelings under his thumb tip. Delighted, he took a bite, the crunch resounding in the hallway.

He was a new student, not knowing anybody yet. In his rooms and in private he was his solemn, quiet self, but in public areas, he had to wear the mask. The mask was his cheery, joyful exterior, a friendly fellow in all appearances. There to hide his dark mind. He was very good at hiding it, only a telepath could see inside.

God help the school telepaths.

The Irishman opened the lounge door, blinking for a moment. The sheer pinkness of the room seemed to be assaulting every sense, like some sort of mind-warfare. The inhabitants were fairly surprising, but didn't approach the levels of mental damage the room did.

Cocking an eyebrow as Dorn spoke, Cole bit into his apple. Hesitantly he reached to his side and grabbed the wheel bar, wheeling himself into the lounge, door closing behind him. With a chuckle, he spoke.

“Of course. Disney channel has the most brain-melting, hideously terrifying programs on television. A matter of interests, I guess.” He gave Dorn a small grin, taking another bite along the middle of the apple, giving it an hourglass shape as he ate. “Sorry. I'm the new kid. Cole Solman. Cam, Cole, whatever you like.” He smiled at Bello cheerily.

((Since no one has replied for ages I will do it again!))

Dorn calmly turned the gaze towards the sound as the boy talked, he tilted his head to the side as he looked at him. Okey this kid was weird, he tried to act all calm and happy but Dorn could sense something inside of him that was not very happy. But he did not react much more then that a shiver went though his body, he had after all a mother that worked at the hospital where the emotions was extremely mixed, from when someone was going to have a baby to when someone got the news they only had a few hours left to live.

"Well if a program really could melt the brain then I Imagine it has to be a very boring one." he replied back with a smile. "So far my brain have not yet been close to a meltdown so I guess that is just what people say." he then nodded slowly at the boy when he told his name. "Nice to meet you, I am the not so new but still not very old kid Dorn Koon. But just call me Dorn" he then returned the eyes to the TV for a moment before he stretched his arms over the head with a gesture, and of course he did hit the bottle with his medicin so that it began to rool across the floor, Dorn sighed deeply before he slowly got to his feet and walked after it, he bent down and picked it up. He slowly brushed some dust of the bottle before he examined it to make sure that it was okey, yeah it was okey still so that was good.

((Hope you don’t mind me jumping in at this point.))

Alex let out a sigh that was only drowned out by the thud of her English text book slamming shut. She had come to the lounge looking for a place to read for class, some hack writer from the English Romantic Era and five pages into she realized she had no idea what she was reading. There were just too many people in here and too much noise, both audible and coming from people’s minds for her to focus on the already insufferably boring story. She knew this was really something that should be done alone in her dorm room but she still, despite being a girl for a little over half a year now, she still didn’t feel like she belong in that place. Then of course there was the library she could do her reading in there of course, but that place was so amazingly dull at this time of the day she would probably end up falling asleep anyways.

Giving up on the idea of actually getting any homework accomplished for the time being she would just have to content herself with mindless entertainment and idle chat. Tucking the book under her arm she got up from the chair in a out of the way corner of the room and made her way over to the area the TV and several other people were located.

“Yeah it’s true,” She said butting into these two boys conversation and taking a seat on the nearest couch while doing so. “But you do gotta admit. You kinda feel dumber the longer and longer you watch it.” She frowned as she realized her feet don’t even touch the floor now that she was on this couch and lamented at her lost height. “So if you gentlemen don’t mind me asking, what have y’all decided to watch?”

Cole chuckled at Dorn's comments on the show, nodding. He pushed down a gag of revulsion at his own cheeriness. But if he didn't act like he was normal, people would catch on. “Nice to meet ya Dorn.” He looked at the newest kid, the girl who'd just entered. She'd taken a seat, feet not touching the floor, Cole grinned inwardly at that, and started talking.

It took a second for it to register that he and his new 'friend' were being addressed. With a push, he wheeled himself over to the empty seat next to her, stopping at the end of the couch. Pushign up, he lifted himself over the couch arm and onto the soft cushion. Sighing with contentment, he leaned his head back, taking a bite out of his apple. Oddly enough, despite the fact that it had been open to air for a moment now, it was not browning.

“I haven't decided yet.” He said while chewing, grinning at the two, Dorn and Alex. Swallowing the chunk of fruit, he shrugged. “Whatever y'all want I guess. I'm not too picky.” He chuckled playfully.

“So. What're you two in for?” He asked in a way curiously similar to an inmate addressing a cellmate. Noticing this, he rephrased. “What do you do? You know, your powers.” He asked, noticing the plant on the coffee table. Reaching out, he ran a hand over it, bringing some of the withering leaves back to their green healthiness.

Dorn looked over at Alex when she talked and he frowned a little but he did not say anything right away since he after all did not know what to say. He had never felt at all dumb when he watched disney. His blue eyes then turned to Cole again and he nodded a little. Then he walked back and sat down at the place he had just left before when going after the bottle with medicin. He stretched his arms and then he glanced over at Alex as she asked her question. "I am not very picky either actually, I would say we let the ladies make the choice, it is after all how a gentleman would do it" he smiled a little in a friendly way as he said this.

Dorn tilted his head to the side and his eyes moved to Cole at his weird question about what they where in for, well he did understand right away what he talked about of course. "Nothing to major, I can sense emotions in people around me." he said with a thoughtful voice, then he made a pause before he continued to talk. "I am also able to control metal, if you have ever read X-men you would know what kind power it is, I can bend, move and even turn metal into liquid if I was to." he thought for a moment and then he rememebred something. "Oh and I can also sense every single object made out of metal that is around me."

It took Alex a second to realize he meant her when he said let the lady decide. She wanted to say something witty like, well there are no ladies here, but she thought that would be way too cheesy to say. “Meh.” She shrugged, “You boys don’t want to watch what ladies do, it’ll be all Better Homes and Garden, and Pregnancy shows.” She paused for a moment glancing at the TV and back at the kids. “I didn’t really come here looking to watch TV I’ll let you two decide, you were here first.”

Their deliberations on what to watch where then interrupted by the kid in the wheelchair, Cole she believed his name was, asked them what they were in for. Alex couldn’t help but grin, what was with people at this place and always wanting to know the life story and powers of everyone else here. Maybe she was lucky in that if she ever really wanted to know something about someone it just took a few seconds of mental probing to find it out and that was about it.

“Me?” She said trying to think of a way of avoiding the unpleasantness that usually comes with conversations about her powers or her history decided to do what she seemed to do so much of here. “I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.” She lied, but it was such a very bold face lie she doubted they would believe her but instead get the hint she wasn’t going to be telling them what they wanted to know.
