Brendon Matthews...
His name felt familiar...
Joshua closed his eyes and could see him again... standing there adorned in his robes and jewels staring back at him with those innocent amber eyes. He exhaled a little roughly and frowned as he opened his eyes.
The scent of that boy still lingered lightly within his shop and he found that he couldn’t concentrate. He moved to the back of the store and stepped into the storage area. It was still cool from when he opened the door for Brendon... but the boy’s scent was less potent here.
The aroma was light... but it still affected him and he could still smell him. A light growl escaped him as he made his way to the back door of his shop and actually stepped outside.
The cool autumn air felt refreshing... and he was finally given the peace he needed to think everything over.
He was attracted to Brendon... but it was much more powerful than a regular attraction... merely because he was drawn to all of him.
...
He had come out here to think clearly... and come to terms with how he felt... so that he could regain control of himself and move on...
But...the solid realization of just how much he desired this boy... was jarring...
He needed to ignore these feelings... and forget about that boy... feeling anything more for him... would slowly destroy him.
He lacked control around Brendon... and had almost kissed him without any regard for his age... or their genders...
In that moment... he hadn’t cared about anything...just him...
These feelings... for this boy were dangerous... for them both...
