Things were changing fast for Nessie. Just days ago, her whole world had been flipped upside-down. Her life, the life now growing inside of her...Edward's life, too, it was all growing into something so unexpected and different from what she'd come to know in all of her years on this earth. Not that it was a bad thing. It was just so...different.
Edward was at school for the day, so Nessie had ventured out to run some errands. The doctor she was seeing wanted her to be on some kind of vitamins. Squinting at the paper, she tried to make out the scribbles that he'd written down for her while she stood in the pharmacy in front of the shelves upon shelves of different kinds of vitamins. How was she supposed to even figure this out? She wished she'd waited until Edward was home so he could have come with her...she was rather dependent on him for communication nowadays, though she still carried her notebook with a pencil at the ready in case she needed to talk to someone. Nessie sighed at the paper in her hand and looked at the rows of pills again to see if any of them matched the scrawled-out name she'd been given.
