Bastet gave a sigh followed with a smile, "It's been busy days after all. But basically it's that: Mom's around for a while.", and at least she was relieved things turned to better. Samantha's eyes when Aaron sipped a black coffee without anything special was almost as if she questioned why she didn't add blood or anything.

"So far it's kind of like my old home dimension: special people here and there, magical creatures, deities, demons... It's a lot of fresh air compared to the narrow reality out there. I really needed a break after all...", Samantha gave a nostalgic sigh, and didn't seem to mind when Oroichi suddenly sprung out of a flower vase to sip her coffee, even helping him a bit and mumbling "(It's still very hot, mind that, ok?)".

"Tonight, heh? Hm... If my siblings can come or if we find someone to watch over them, sure.", Bastet was surely eager to meet Aaron's family, but what would Samantha have to say? As she let Oroichi handle the coffee himself for a moment, Samantha then addressed the suggestion: "However, I'd rather have home cooking, so it would be best to not have any restaurant involved."

"You're from another dimension?" she'd ask curiously, tilting her head. "I haven't visited any other dimensions, some of my family has," mainly her father, who had business partners in other realms. "A dimension where we wouldn't have to hide sounds really nice."

She'd hum in thought for a moment. "We could go to my family home? I can cook for us, I have a lot of siblings, so the kids will have others to play with." She hoped they wouldn't be started by kid vampires jumping around everywhere.

"Do you like Italian?" she'd ask Samantha. "My family is mostly from Italy, so that's mostly what I can cook," she'd say with a small chuckle.

"Me and my husband were from different dimensions, in the sense our timelines were parallel to this one. By coincidence and fortune we wound up in the exact same world when risking it all to find each other.", Samantha petted Oroichi, who rested the cup down, "He wasn't the exact same from my world, and I wasn't the exact same from his world, but the feeling we shared for each other was mutual."

Bastet brought up another ground serpent, this one went to simply grab the thermo bottle to the table and then disappeared in a vase. "That reminds me, I haven't been there yet... And I gotta tell Anubis and Maris what to expect.", Bastet served more coffee for who needed, gesturing Oroichi to grab himself another cup in the kitchen.

"Me... I'm more of traditional Japanese cuisine. Nothing against Italian food however. Or more exquisite ones (surprise me)." Samantha's response was plain and simple, as she sipped her cup. "And I'm into European cuisine, so I'm certain to enjoy it!", Bastet stated simply, serving Oroichi as he requested her.

Aaron was still getting used to the weird ground serpents, but then popping up and snatching up a thermos was actually a little funny. "So, my place then," she'd say with a smile. "I'll see if my parents can drop by so you both can meet them," it was short notice so they probably wouldn't be able to join them for dinner.

The demonic vampire would finish her coffee. "Later on we could all go up to the station?" she'd suggest, remembering how her and Bastet had researched alien culture there. "Lots to do up there," stuff for both the adults and the kids.

Her tail would take her cup and set it on the tray. "And I'd love to give you a tour of the city if you're up for it."

Samantha nodded and hummed in agreement. She knew what it was like to be busy and not be able to go to meetings related to her children. Thankfully now she could, even if for a while. Oroichi made himself half comfortable upon Samantha's lap, who petted him. It was clear, she got so used to that by now that she even treated him partially as a pet.

"Ah, yeah, mom would certainly want to know more about dad's species in this dimension!", Bastet snapped her fingers when remembering that. "That is true. What you got me was very interesting, but I can't shake the feeling it was more of a summary.", Samantha nodded and then listened to Aaron's offer.

"I have half done the tour myself, but doesn't hurt to have someone guide me this time.", she felt a little inclined to agree, out of reason of course.

"So, tonight dinner?" she'd ask with a smile "Tomorrow either the tour or the station? Or both if we have time, I don't get tired, so I can stay up as late as you need me." It was one of the perks she got from being half lust demon, feeding kept her energized.

This was all turning out well, despite the odd circumstances that began it. "We could head over to the mansion now if you'd like, I can call us a ride." A limo to be precise, something big enough to transport all of them.

Pulling out her phone she'd quickly send her parents a text. "I'll tell me family to keep the shadow magic use to a limit," she'd say with a chuckle.

"Sounds like a plan, yes.", Bastet nodded in agreement. "I'm eager to see the Station, so prioritizing that would be recommended, the tour can wait.", Samantha responded, giving a couple nods and finishing her part of the snack, "We will meet for the dinner at sundown, as Anubis and Maris needs to be informed and properly dressed for the occasion.".

Oroichi opened an eye to peek at Aaron, but otherwise said nothing, did nothing, just let himself be treated like a pet for the moment. "And please inform them to not mistake mom for a demon or something. I mean, you must have noticed, mom's eyes can quite instill fear.", Bastet's words caused her mother to briefly look her way, the tall girl freezing in place briefly.

"I mean, they'll know she isn't by her scent," she'd shrug. "Even if they did they wouldn't treat her any differently, I'm half demon," she was adopted, technically her parents were her aunt and uncle.

"Anyways, the limo will be here in a bit," she'd say with a grin. "You two ready?" she'd ask, standing, her tail stretching a bit behind her.

"Are the kids here at the school? I can have the limo swing by your hotel to pick them up."

"Hm, mom will need to inform my siblings first... So I'd say it is best if she goes ahead first, then I prepare myself meanwhile, that way we all should have enough time until sundown.", Bastet explained, and soon Samantha stood up and offered her hand for Aaron to shake. "Guess this will be my cue to leave for the moment, then. It was a pleasure to be acquainted with my child's mate, I trust she's in good hands.", while her face was her usual emotionless self, Samantha's voice undeniably carried satisfaction in this acquaintance. And once that greeting was exchanged, she'd make the leave, as now Aaron and Bastet would be alone... Or close to that, Oroichi was still slithering about.

Aaron would say goodbye to her, taking a breath and chuckling once she'd left. "Well....that was a thing," she'd say, her tail gently wrapping around Bastet's waist. "It was good to finally meet her though."

She'd give Baste a kiss. "Everything will be ready at the mansion for us," it was exciting if a bit nerve wracking.

"You ok?" she'd ask, wrapping her arms around her. "I know you said you'd been surprised by it all too."
