Serenity kept her head down. She didn't have a clue what to say, she hadn't met any other humans exept for her captors. She knew he was wondering what she was doing here, and why she had wings that had no feathers. They were just a clear, yellowish, oval shape. She just didn't want to know this was the first time she had every spoken to a human, so she kept her mouth closed.

He sighed and sat down against a wall. He was tired and standing wasnt helping very much. He wasnt used to other people, but he was not worried about anything, yet.

Serenity looked at him for a moment before reaching down to pick up the two candles and gently putting them back onto the desk. They re-lit at once and she picked the drawing/painting she had been working on for a week. The paint had smudged over the entire painting, ruining it. She couldn't help but feel a bit sad, she had put so much effort into it. Now she either had to start from scratch, or start on a different one. She looked up again at the boy... He was just so... dark, and he almost had a sad look to him. But she said nothing, but stared anyway.

He watched silently as she picked up the candles and her painting. Noticing the sad look she gave at seeing her painting ruined he frowned. He wondered if it could be fixed but figured probably not. Noticing her staring at him he raised an eyebrow and returned the stare with his own.

Serenity kept her gaze on him, watching his face for a sign of weakness. She was used to be stared at and staring back, though no one could hold her ember gaze for long. She could go on like this for hours, but she wondered if he could...

He held her gaze easily. Unlike her firey gaze, his was dark and dead of emotion. An eyebrow raised and he wondered who would look away first, it was not his thing to do so.

Serenity held her gaze, daring him to move. She remembered something someone said to her. People can see your soul if they look into the depths of your eyes she hoped that wasn't true, because her soul was just a pale, pained, and desperate for socializing little thing. She really hoped it wasn't true.

He didnt break his stare as he spoke, his words somewhat suprising to her probably. "Theres some kind of estival thing going on at the school, probably a good way to meet other people if thats what you need to do. Would you like to go?" He asked and finally looked away. Eyes settled on the candle, which oddly didnt reflect in his eyes.

Serenity reddened deeply and looked down, her eyes wide. She didn't even know the boys name! And he had already asked her to the Festival! She couldn't look up. She could hardly breath. This was more than 'surprising'. Toher surprise, "I... I'm Serenity, and-and I'll go to the... I'll go to the Festival with. With You." she looked up at him. "May I have your name?" her wings twittered curiously...

Eyes focused on her, seeing the blush even in the little light they had. Lips curved upwards in a smirk, the closest he got to a smile. "Seth. Nice name Serenity." He anwsered and stood again.
