Real quiet, for how long?

Serenity was drawing. She loved drawing, and she could do it well. The once-blank-and-dusty was filled with elegant mythical creatures, mostly faries. Their wings varied, but didn't hers? Every desk had at least three candles on it and was littered with more drawings. She had long since chose this over the other art room, and she liked it better. The less people the better. If her identidy got out and around, she mayas well locked herself in a cage. The Hunters would take her away. Again.
She had swept the floor clean of dust and wiped the windows, her pyro keeping the room a cozy temperature. While her back was to the door, she was drawing one of her best pictures yet: What she would look like as Queen. She didn't want to be Queen though! She wanted to be normal! Though her wings stood out, she was mostly like everyone else around here! She was wearing what she usuallly wore on these boring days; her wings small and a yellowish see-through. They stood out greatly against her clothing.

((She's wearing her normal outfit :P ))

another presence was in the hallways, though you saw nothing but shadows. One shadow seemed to be moving, but stopped as it reached the room the girl was in. It couldnt melt into such a room, the candles caused too much a problem. For awhile the shadow just sat there, not moving. Then it seemed to diminish and a figure could be seen in it. Black hair was cut short, bangs brushing his eyes, a small white turf standing out. He wore a grimance as the shadows seemed to try to pull him back in and he fought them. The fight seemed in the shadow's favor as less of him was visable.

Serenity heard a bit of struggling, feet moving across the dusty floor, and a strange whispering sound. She grabbed one of the candles of her desk; it was night and she couldn't see well, and stepped outside the door. Seeing the half-boy, she dropped the candle, the rest in the room flickering out with her fear. She knew it was probably a prank on her, so she grabbed the boys arm. Her entire arm felt strange, like something was crawling on it. She kept her arm on the 'prank', though. The feeling was spreading over her, though... Dont let go. This prankster's prank ought to be revealed! Though I feel like I'm... Her thoughts were cut off.

THe shadows had almost won and pulled him in. His own thoughts had gone to defeat, thinking he'd lost when suddenly he felt someone grab him. At first the shadow's seemed to let go, then as more of them grew from the candle's absence. Then suddenly he fell as the shadow's gave up and he fell, bringing her with him as he fell to the floor. The boy wore a black coat that hid most of his features.

Serenity's wings made a twittering sound as they beat quickly to keep her aloft. She dropped her feet and, regaining her balance, she picked up the candle she had dropped. Dodging back into the room, to shocked to speak. Relighting the candle, she put it back down on the desk and started drawing again. She thought the boy would leave, so she started painting in the color. She didn't expect what was going to happen next.

He sat there for a moment, regaining his breath as he watched her leave. Standing, he brushed himself off and ran a hand through his hair, thinking. Walking into the room, steps were sient as he moved, standing behind her. Eyes glowed slightly as the flame's light caught and he looked at the drawing, wondering what she was drawing. "What is that?" He asked, curious.

Serenity jumped up, her eyes wide with surprise. While attempting to turn around, her foot caught the leg off the desk, bring it down after she fell. She gasped in pain as the desk landed squarley onto her wing, crashing through part of theweak floor as well.
The candles by now had all gone out, and Serenity had to hold back groaning. Besides habving herself pinned down by her wing, the lights all gone, she had a boy, most likely clueless in the dark, somewhere in the room with her.

He looked at her suprised as she gasped and tried to turn, only to fall. Hearing the gasp he easily found her in the darkness, shadows doing nothing as he lifted the desk off her wing. Righting the desk he held out a hand to help her up. "Sorry. Are you ok?" His words made you think he cared, but his emotion said otherwise.

Serenity fumbled in the darkness, her wing still aching a bit. The room had already gone cold, and she had to fumble to grab his hand. Once she was on her feet, she dared to light the candles on the table to see the damage to her wing. Once the candles were lit, she studied the boy. Black clothes. Black hair (she thought, it was still a bit dim) Blank expression. She wished she hadn't lit the candles.

Eyebrows knitted together as he watched her. "You ok?" He asked again. He ran a hand through his hair, thinking. He had not expected to find anyone in these rooms, specially someone who seemed to use flames. Eyes turned to her wings and he examined the hurt one for a moment before looking at her again.
