He blinks a bit and looks to the nurse as she asked it. "Sure.." He moves and stands up, turning around near the bed and crouching down. "Put your arms around my neck.." He waited for her.

She obeyed and put her arms around his neck while he lifted her up.

"Do you know how to get there?" the nurse asked.

"I'll show him where," Meredith replied, smiling. "Thank you."

"Take care," the nurse said, gonig back into her office.

When they got into the hallway, Meredith giggled. "We had her fooled the whole time."

"I don't think so.. She kept giving me these strange looks.. What if she can read minds?" He looks over his shoulder to her and then back to the hallway in front of them. "If she can, then why not scold us?"

"If she read our minds, then she'd know our motive," she grinned. This was the first time in months she had her arms wrapped around Dalshun, let alone another guy. Was it worth it to try again? She rested her head on his shoulder as he carried her.

He smiles. "True.. But anyways.. Which way do we go?" He was at a split in the hall. He blinks a couple times and looks to her.

"Okie-dokie then!" she said. "Quickly into a room!" They found a small, empty room and Meredith jumped out of his arms. "Yay, it's good to not be able to act unconscious." She did a little twirl like she usually does in the beginning of swing dancing. Her blonde hair and two dark blue ribbons in her hair flowed in her small twirl.

Dal moves closer to her and holds her close in his arms. "So what now?" He had her held from behind.

That was still the question: What now? She didn't know what now. Half of her was afraid of what might happen if they rush back together. Half of her still had a longing, a longing for that special someone, that sense of touch, that ability to look forward and know somoene is there waiting to catch you if you fall. The future was there, waiting for them to make a decision. She rest her head on his chest and hugged him. "I just don't know."
