Vlad peered around the open door to the library. 'Wow, they have a lot of books here..' He thought as he tried to quietly walk in, his combat boots wouldn't allow it though — they made a sound 'thump' as he walked, regardless of the carpeted floor. Vlad slowly wandered around, looking a little lost before picking out a book about the history of martial arts.

He hated being the 'new person' here. He traveled to the far side of the library where he could maybe read in peace and be able to keep from the other people. Before sitting, he took off his leather jacket and hung it on the back of the chair, he stretched quickly then pulled out the chair and sat down. He looked over the hard cover of the book — The History of Judo and Martial Arts. He quickly flipped to the first page and began reading silently.

A small sarcastic gasp was heard from beneath three chairs as Emireth's form was revealed lying underneath them.

Some one actually comes to the library to read? Most just go to the back and smooch.
She said with a smirk and a shrug, speaking to herself more than speaking to him, yet such probably not being too noticeable.

The female grinned as she re arranged her cap with her name written on it. Her face was probably still not too noticeable yet she didn't really care. It'd be amusing if he thought the chair was speaking to him.

Vlad looked up from his book he had been reading. He looked around, he had heard a gasp then someone talking. He figured whoever it was, was female from their tone of voice. After looking around for a moment, he saw no one. Feeling slightly uncomfortable, he decided to check under the table and nearest chairs.

He spotted a figure wearing a cap, he looked puzzled and wondered as to why there was someone — or something under the chairs. "Err...hello?" he asked, giving a small smile, trying to look as friendly as possible. He slipped out of his chair and rested with his hands and knees on the floor, so he could comfortably talk to the person.

Hi. Em.
She said, as if her name, or more like nickname, would explain why she was under the chair. She grinned at the male, her way of dressing being one of the things that brought her up, yet Emireth's mischief didn't really need much help to call attention.

Who are you? I haven't seen you here before.
She said bluntly.

"Um, alright then. Hello, Em. I'm Vlad, Vlad Vanmyre." he said quietly as he stood up and grabbed his jacket. He slipped it on then grabbed the book off the table.

"Nice to meet you" he flatly told her before walking away and putting the book back on the shelf it came from. He then walked back to where Em was and leaned against a nearby wall, folding his arms across his chest. "Are you going to tell me why you were under the chairs, or no?"

Wandering through the halls, Adilina felt very uncomfortable due to the fact that she isn't used to being around so many people. Rounding a corner she sees the sign for the library, thinking to herself, 'Oh, Books, that's something I can relate to' Feeling a little more at ease, she quickly walked to the door, only to find that she couldn't get them open. After a few pulls on the handles, she realizes the small sign reads: PUSH Groaning to herself, she thinks 'What a way to start my first day in this place ' Finally pushing open the doors, she stares in awe at how many bookshelves there are, then walks to one of the tables to set down her backpack. Looking left and right, trying to decide which shelf to start with, she notices her boyfriend, Vlad, standing at the back wall, apparently talking to himself. A sense of happiness washing over her, she smiles wide and waves to him.

Vlad glanced at the library entrance as he heard someone not pushing the doors, but pulling them. He smiled to himself, barely showing the tips of his vampire fangs, his girlfriend always does stuff like that. After a few minutes, the person who had been having trouble emerged from the hallway. He laughed to himself, it was his girlfriend who had been doing that!

He stared at Adilina in amazement — she looked wonderful. He said goodbye to Em and walked over to Adilina as she waved at him. His eyes shown brightly with happiness as he approached her.

Vlad gave her a loving hug and a quick kiss on the cheek upon arrival. "Hey, I see you finally figured out you PUSH the doors, not pull them," he laughed.

Blushing a rainbow of colors, she playfully slapped his arm "I'm just a little nervous, there are so many people here!" Looking up into his eyes, she felt totally at ease now that she found him here. "Who were you talking to back there? Did you get yourself an imaginary friend?" She asked with a small grin on her face. :cow:

He frowned, "I don't -get- imaginary friends. It was some girl named Em who decided to hide under a chair. She seems sarcastic and a little strange. I don't know if she's still there or not.." He turned slightly to look in the direction of where Em had been. "I guess she might've slipped out, who knows."

He turned his gaze back to Adilina. "I'm going to go exploring." He gave her a small hug.

Vlad fixed his jacket collar and stuffed his hands in his pants pockets as he left the library.

Landing a small kiss on his cheek as he hugged her, she turned to watch him leave. ' Now, to get back to what I came here to do..' She thought, looking again at all of the shelves of books. Strolling between many shelves, she finds one that peaks her interest, takes it off of the shelf and walks back to the table. Fairies, Past Present and Future Reads the Title. 'Maybe now I can find something out about my heritage' she thinks to herself then begins to read.
