That's totally true. Because a scanner can not capture and copy every single little deail that you put on the pic, especially if those little details were important.

You're really good at shading, I can't shade to save my life. It's always the same tone...Pssshhh.

it's pretty good...proportions a little wack, but you should get an elfwood acc.

Yeah, very true, and the scanner doesn't handle shading well at all, even with desaturation it still cuts out very light shades and just converts them to white pixels.

I've been to elfwood, but I didn't stay very long...I am thinking of just making my own site to host my work on because I have seen a lot of good artists do that...but I might wait until I have more of a collection.

I don't reall have a color problem because I don't shade much, I had to on the Zombie to show where the rotting skin was.I need to learn to shade...I'm absolutely awful.

It's fairly simple, but requires practice, here is a few tips incase you wanna use them, they helped me..

1. Establish your light source, decide where the lights coming from, and then shade accordingly.

2. Practice copy. If you draw a really great picture but your afriad to shade it because you don't want to mess it up, make a photocopy of the drawing and shade the photocopy and if it comes out nicely, just reshade on the actual drawing. (Good thing is also that if you mess up and erase, it doesn't erase the lines of the drawing, just the shading, this is a great practice technique.)

p.s. to anyone who cares - I made a gallery for my work and I might put other people's work there too - click here
