Appearance Description: Quillyr’s “clothing” is almost as eccentric as his personality, primarily consisting of dark blues and blacks, with bronze metal accents, His entire look reminiscent of an fountain pen or quill. Tall and lanky, his legs and fingertips ended in pen nibs. A bronze colored mask covers his nonexistent face.
Personality Description: Quillyr is an eccentric individual, often striking poses he believes to be cool and talking to himself. He is insanely intelligent, with an almost immeasurable IQ, always seeking new things to read and learn. Despite this he is rather childish, being gullible and petty, getting worked up over little things. He is meticulous to a ridiculous degree, nitpicking over even little mistakes, particularly misplaced books. He is passionate about knowledge and learning, friendly to any and all who seek to learn. However, due to his existence as a being of recorded knowledge, he has difficulty thinking outside the box, and can become stuck if something is not relatable to something he has read or learned.
Species Abilities:
Personification - As a personification, Quillyr cannot die. Upon taking critical damage, he will return to a place of learning and knowledge (Usually a school or library) where he will have to remain for a week. Due to his nature as a being of the written word, things that would be particularly effective against books are his weakness, particularly fire and water. In the presence of large amounts of knowledge, such as books or scrolls, Quillyr will grow in power temporarily.
Walking Encyclopedia - Quillyr is an embodiment of knowledge and books, giving him a photographic memory. In addition, he can read, write, and speak in any language. He is able to read a book instantly simply by picking it up.
Living Pen - Quillyr is capable of writing from his fingers and feet, both in the air and on solid objects, in all manner of colors.
Powers:
Wordplay - Quillyr is capable of turning written words into matter, with the word itself jumping off the page and becoming real for 3 hours. These creations can only be up to the size of an elephant, or they manifest purely as an illusion. As with himself, water and fire will make quick work of these creations.
Skystep - Quillyr is capable of walking on thin air, with light blue ripples forming when he steps on it.
Biography:
- First born in 307 BC in the Great Library of Alexandria
- Spent his days there reading and watching the scholars, occasionally interacting with them himself
- Became lost and distraught upon the destruction of the Great library, destroying his body while saving as many scrolls as he could, only one
- Spent much of the last 2 millenium attempting to spread knowledge, though only recently gaining any success.
- The knowledge gained by humanity in turn lead to the near death of superstition, forcing him to become ostracised
- Was scouted and brought to Manta Carlos after being found in an abandoned schoolhouse
