Quietly Thinking

Ina walked along a path in the mountain. He looked at the rocks along the trail. He soon came to a sort of clearign where the ground got flat and there were a few scattered rocks and bushes. Ian walked over to a rock near the edge of the mountin and sat down leaning up against another rock.

From where he was sitting, he could see most of the city below. It was getting a little dark out but it didn't bother him. He continued to look at the city but slowly turned and leaned up against the rock. There wasnt anyone else around that he was aware of. Ian ran his hand through his hair and looked at the floor and thinking to himself.

Solitude is a guy's best friend?
Questioned a girl from behind him. She had been morphed into a butterfly, attempting to see if she could fly through the mountain range, but was distracted by the male when she passed by. Linken had a short attention span.

She smiled at him as she moved her head to a side curiously, being clad in a red calf-length skirt with white leg warmers and black ballerinas. A black long sleeve turtle neck was upon her with a white sash around her waist as black feathers hung from her ears and a black beret rested on her head.

Am I interrupting something? I can leave if you wish.
She said courtly.

"No." said Ian, "It's fine, you aren't interupting anything." he said.

I'm Linken.
She introduced herself, being the social butterfly she was, the nick name fitting her mroe when she was in the hybrid form and having butterfly wings of her own. She smiled at the male.

Running away from the Academy?
She asked curiouisly, not meaning litteraly running away yet just having to get away for a small while, thing which Linken did constantly.

"Yeah." said Ian, "My names Ian, I'm new here." he said with a sort of half smile. "I'm here to see what it's like up here and to think for a little, not much else for me to do right now." he said with a shrug.

New? Same here. A breather's necessary from that place.
She said while shaking her head and a light shrug.

Nothing else? Aww you can always entertain yourself with something at the Academy, there's something going on and if there isn't there's always mischief to make.
She said with a light innocent grin.

Ian smiled slightly, "Never thought of it that way." he said leaning back on the rock again, "Well, I was told I should go to the dance to have fun there, but I went and it was boring."

Yeah, I was there too. There was no one there I knew, though it might have to do with it being my first day.
She said with a light grin as she absently scratch the side of her neck in what seemed to be a slightly canine fashion.

If there's nothing going on make something, like a club of whatever you like or something like that.

Something huh? Well good luck with that.
She said with a light smile and a shrug. His buisness was his own and if he didn't want to say she wouldn't ask him.

To every person their own.
She said with a light grin and a shrug.
