It was a matter of pride for Thiul to always appear as fearless and strong as possible, as it was how she had been raised. It was always uncomfortable for her when she felt fear, no matter what the cause of it was. And now she was more scared than she had been in years, as she arrived to Gwyn's residence with Titus.

Liun's disappearance had really put a stop to almost any projects Thiul had had going on, and pursuing this possible way to heal her condition had been among those projects. But now Liun was back, and even though Thiul had been fussing over him ever since he came back she was now ready to try and heal herself. Even if she was secretly terrified of the possibility that it would make her legs even worse.

Thiul looked like she had been stressing and losing sleep, which she had. She had bags under her eyes and her clothes were slightly disheveled, although Thiul had done her best to look at least somehow presentable. She had only slept for few hours last night, having been too busy listing all the possible outcomes for this encounter.
Thiul materialized her cane and would let Titus lead the way to the front door, following after him and quietly using his presence to reassure herself. Thiul regretted neglecting Titus these past few months, and even though they had been to a date in the form of going to the show Titus had gifted her a ticket for Thiul had decided to make it up for him whether this worked or not.

Titus was admittedly relieved when Thiul finally decided to take him up on his offer to see his brother. With the way she'd been running herself ragged he was getting worried. Worried enough that he was considering making her take some time for herself. She had overworking down to a science. He went partially because he wanted to be with her through this, but also because he knew just how his older brother could be.

The winter had effectively put any gardening to a halt, but the bushes that did line the front of his home were very clearly flourishing. And there was something about the air that smelled more fresh than other places. This was Gwyn Drakenhardt's home without a doubt.

"Alright, we're here. My brother can be a little... aggressive," Titus said as he knocked on the door. "Just try not to touch anything. Especially the glass, or the plants."

It was impressive, how the bushes on Gwyn Drakenhardts property still managed to bloom in this winter weather. Suppose it was to be expected from a nature dragon. The whole place smelled like...vitality. Thiul had never met Gwyn, since the man had strongly refused the check Thiul had requested from all the Drakenhardt members. Thiul wondered if the owner reflected the image this place was painting.

Aggressive? Thiul raised a brow at that, Titus was saying that to her of all people? But she trusted his judgement and nodded. Thiul wasn't so rude, or stupid, that she would start flexing on another dragon's property.
"So I can expect him to be the complete opposite of you?"
Thiul asked with the slightest smile.

"He's got this air about him... you'll s-" Titus stopped as the door opened up. Standing before them was a man who was shorter than Titus. He more or less had the same skin tone, and vivid blue eyes. His hair was down, and he didn't exactly seem to be dressed to receive guests. that said despite the fact that he was in a t-shirt, sweatpants, and slippers, Gwyn did still manage to give off a certain air of dignity.

"Oh... it's you. You're early," Gwyn frowned, then looked over at Thiul, then back to Titus.

"This is Thiul, you know, my girlfriend? The one who wanted to give us checkups and you just full on noped out? You said you'd see if you could help her with her um... condition? Also, we're on time."

Gwyn inhaled and gestured for them to come in. His house was well lit, and seemed to have a variety of houseplants meticulously arranged. As he led them into his living room, there was a large aquarium on the furthest wall with various tropical fish.

"Make yourselves comfy. Did you want some tea?"

Air about him? Thiul was well aware of what kind of airs about them dragons could have, and when Gwyn did open the door she was...bit surprised. Why had she been worried over how she looked when Gwyn opened the door looking like he had only just now woken up. Or maybe he had. Gwyn also looked slightly like Titus, there was family resemblance. And naturally Gwyn had red hair, that was no surprise.

Thiul stood a bit straighter as Titus introduced her, not bothering to smile but her expression was softer than usual.
"Pleasure. The offer is still open if you change your mind."
Thiul was even more interested studying Gwyn's powers and constitution, especially now since she knew that he could do.

Thiul stepped in and looked around as they walked. The houseplants were no surprise, and all in all the house looked like she had expected Gwyn's house to look like. And as they arrived in the living room and Gwyn offered tea Thiul shook her head.
"I hate to rush ahead, but I would like to get started as soon as possible. Surely you understand."
Thiul really wanted to skip all the niceties and how do you dos and tea and such, she had never been good with them anyway. But what she had been for most of her life was weak-legged, and if this man was the solution to that and he was right in front of her Thiul didn't want to waste any time. And her determined expression said as much. Although behind her back, where she rested her hands against the small of her back, Thiul was squeezing her hands into fists.

Gwyn and Titus exchanged a look, then the plant dragon looked at Thiul. It was time for him to get to work then. Gwyn pulled his hair back into a ponytail it was time to get to work. Of course, given that Gwyn wasn't a doctor of any kind meant that there was no formal place for him to get to work.

"Alright so what's the basic gist of this issue again? Refresh my memory. I need to know so I know what I'm doing and I don't give you cancer... or something."

Gwyn gestured for Thiul to move over to his dining room table. It was as close to an operating table as they were getting. Not that it was really surgery he was performing.

Thiul ignored the look the two men exchanged, since it didn't seem like either of them was going to delay this session. Thiul appreciated it in her own way. And so as Gwyn gestured for Thiul to move over to the kitchen table she complied and hopped up to sit on the edge, as she assumed Gwyn wanted her to get on top of the table.

"My spine was nearly severed in half in my youth, and my own regenerative abilities are keeping the injury halted in this certain stage, so it won't worsen. Or that is my theory, backed up by my colleagues. I was told you could momentarily boost my regenerative abilities, and my body would merely finish what it is keeping halted."
Thiul explained, at the same time wondering at the back of her mind if Gwyn would truly be able to give someone cancer. Damnit, she wanted to research his abilities.
These thoughts were to distract Thiul from the shaking her body wanted to do, and she lay her hands against the table firmly to also prevent that.

Gwyn listened, nodding along, something something she needed a healing boost. He was definitely half listening, as he drank some water... out of a flower vase, with the flowers still in it. Titus was calm, but he was definitely halfway embarrassed watching this exchange. Gwyn was moving though, his eyes were now reptilian and pink. He placed a hand on Thiul's shoulder.

It wasn't particularly showy, they would just sit there for a few minutes. Any fatigue Thiul was feeling would melt away, and her healing was most certainly working to repair her broken spine. And then, it was over, just like that.

"So, how's it feel?" Gwyn asked with what could easily be considered the trademark Drakenhardt grin.

Sure, normally Huilu would've blinked at Gwyn drinking from a flower vase, with the flower still in it. But right now her mind was occupied to say the least, as she waited for Gwyn to do his thing, so to say. And he did. As Gwyn set his hand on Thiul's shoulder without saying a word at first Thiul thought he was going to say he couldn't help her. But instead Thiul experienced a strange feeling of vitality and energy. She didn't dare say anything, rather she closed her eyes, trying to feel what was happening in her body.

And before Thiul realized it it was over. Now she blinked at Gwyn, with a confused, surprised, hopeful and irritated expression. That grin on his face was almost as irritating as Titus'. As an answer to his question Thiul hopped off the table, and the moment her feet touched the ground Thiul could tell. Her legs were back to normal. And probably to the surprise of both the men she reached behind her back and under her shirt, feeling her lower back. The scar was still there. Good. Thiul did not want to lose it.
"My spine is healed."
Thiul said, her voice eerily calm. She was in shock, and she stared at Gwyn with an unreadable expression. He had done something Thiul had thought impossible in just few minutes. She had almost given up hope, if it weren't for Titus bringing her here.
"Are you certain you won't let me research your abilities?"
Thiul asked, still in bit of a shock, and she was slightly worried over how she would react after the shock wore off.
