"King me." Ian sat in a rather nice lounge chair, a checkers board between him and Up To Me, who was sitting across from him and perfectly mirroring his movements. The mimicry stopped as Up To Me did, in fact, flip one of Ian's pieces that had reached his back row, revealing the detailed crown marked on the underside of the token. "Game's afoot, let's see you beat me now!" Ian leaned back and crossed his legs, honestly just playing with himself as Up To Me was an extension of his mind, his will. The spectral form, nevertheless, was quick to hop one piece over two of Ian's and then gesture for him to continue. "Smartass..." Ian leaned forward and scratched his chin, trying to choose his next move.
The match was more frustrating than he thought it'd be, playing himself into a corner each turn as what started as relaxing solitaire turned into a maddening puzzle. He could move his kinged piece back, or try to snap up the piece that had just taken two of his... No. Nope forget this. Up To Me seemed to fade away almost instantly as Ian put his feet up on the board, crossing his legs and leaning back, hands behind his head. "Nope."
