Location:
Psychometric Investigations is a rather small business, with its headquarters being the study/library of Nora’s house. As one of the few rooms that face the front, and with some space to the side before the neighbours fence, a path had been built that lead to the door to Nora’s “office”. Keeping her work separate from the main part of the house. The room itself has an L-shaped desk slotted into one of the corners of the room, with shelves beside it and on the walls above it, creating an alcove around the desk. Charts and papers are stuck to the wall, a laptop sits closed, ready for use at a moments notice, papers littering the desk. Bookshelves line the walls from floor to ceiling, creating alcoves around the windows and makeshift desks. In the centre of the room is a round coffee table with lounge chairs to keep company comfortable and entertained.
What is Psychometric Investigations?
Psychometric Investigations is a small private detective firm with only one investigator at this current moment. Nora takes on any case that crosses her desk, discarded cases the police gave up on, assisting police in their efforts, magical, non-magical, missing persons, murder, etc. She’s a jack-of-all-cases in the crime world. She worked her way here right from when she attended SA when she was young. Nora’s firm also attends information nights and career seminars at the island’s schools in order to inspire students in taking a career in police work.
Information:
As a private detective, Nora’s credentials and that of her business are constantly being questioned. She worked from the ground up to build her career, having done a double major in business and criminology along with gaining the required physical experience of the field by working part time with the Manta Carlos police. She has all the credentials require to run a business and solve mysteries, ending crimes. Psychometric Investigations take pride in the safety of clients, more often than not hiring bodyguards and requesting police assistance for clientele in high risk cases.
Lines are open 24/7 with swift response and flexible meeting times and places. Though Nora prefers the use of her study, she likes to let the client feel in control when they are at their weakest in times of need. Also offering support in any other way she can. She’s not just a business woman capable of crime-solving, but a friend off the record.
Swift delivery of justice is important and she aims to deliver. Taking as much time as she needs while closing the case as quickly as possible. Due to her powers under the same name as her business, she aims for three days to close a case, but will take longer as necessary.
Hiring:
As of right now, Nora doesn’t have the finances or business to cover the cost of employees.
