-Neo's hair and mane colors are not natural, and in fact, are the result of her artificially changing it. She enjoys the pink color and the nickname she gets with it.
-She dresses in a sporty manner, and even though she wears proper pants (For a centaur) She enjoys wearing legwarmers as well, especially in this cooler weather.
-She does have a set of specially made horseshoes that have been enchanted to never wear down even though they are made of non-slip rubber.
-She sees a farrier once a month to get her hoofs cared for. Her shoes are removed and renailed on. This is like a day at the spa for her.
Personality Description:
Neo is well known for being a happy and or peppy girl. SHe is part of the schools athletic team and often reflects her pride in Starlights Athletics. She makes friends easily and loves to be around people. This isn't to say that she doesn't have her moods. In truth, she can alternatively be incredibly moody. These funks as they are known, tend to last as long as a day or two, and when they hit she is often times rather short in temper and sharp in tongue.
She enjoys her friendships and will strive to spend time with other people. Something she doesn't tell people is that she has a fear of being alone. Even in her funks, she prefers to be around people. All in all, she is a loving and gentle person.
Neo is confident and prideful and she carries these traits in a very noticeable ways. She rarely slouches and tends to always have a smile. She is rarely limited by embarrassment or being self-conscious and is comfortable with herself in many situations.

Centaur Physiology
Being a Centaur has its own advantages over normal humans. The first of which being that she does have the lower half of a horse, and all the strengths that go with it. this includes things such as speed and strength, as well as having a much higher constitution than her human counterparts.
Speed
Being that her lower half is a horse, Neo is able to run at speeds that most humans will never achieve. Her average speed is just shy of 40 mph while she is able to sprint at closer to 70. She has always prided herself on her quickness and is part of the SA track and field team as both a sprinter and a long distance runner. These speeds did not come easily for her, however, and she trains diligently to maintain and improve her speeds.
Strength
Neo's upper body is as strong as one would expect from a young woman who works out often, She is able to lift a considerable weight, though nothing superhuman or above a normal person capability. Her lower half is incredibly strong. Aided by hundreds of pounds of muscle mass, Neo is able to carry almost 30% of her body weight safely. She can push herself to carry up to twice that, however doing so puts great strain on her legs, and risks injury. Additionally, She can pull a considerably larger weight if she is properly harnessed to it. Up to 8000 lbs. Naturally, using carts or other means of aid will allow her to pull even more weight if required.
Senses
Neo poses many senses that exceed normal human standards. HEr sense of hearing is very sophisticated, allowing her to pick up sounds that are further away, or at much higher or lower frequencies than a normal human can decipher. She is able to rotate and move her ears to better hear things without actually having to turn her head. Her sense of smell is almost three times as sensitive as a human, which can lead to irritation around certain people or things that have a distinct odor. Finally, her sense of taste is at the very least twice as accurate as a human, allowing her to either enjoy foods more or dislike things more. Her sense of sight is about equal, though she happily boasts 20/10 Vision. ((She claims this is because of the carrots she eats.))
Hearty
Centaurs are not immortal or ageless. However, they do enjoy longer lives than humans (At most around 200 years), with much better health than the average human. Centaurs do have a very strong immune system and while not immune to illness, are incredibly resilient to it. They rarely become sick, and rarely develop life-threatening conditions such as cancer. (Though it can happen) They also have a higher level of endurance allowing them to push further than humans, or in many cases other species, in physical ways. They can work longer without tiring, and even without sleeping.

Biography:
Neo has lived on the island almost her entire life. She was born in Greece with her family to a large herd. For many generations her family had an understanding with the Greek government, allowing them to live in a stretch of forest outside of Athens with relative secrecy. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this understanding quickly dissolved and her kind soon found themselves under fire from poachers. In a bid to escape a terrible fate Neo's mother reached out to scouts from Manta Carlos, begging them for asylum.
Arriving at MC, Neo was one of 7 to make it over. Most of which were children like herself. They were accompanied by two adults, her mother and another female from the herd. Her father had stayed to protect the rest of his people and try to figure out a new way to allow them to live safely in their homes. Neo hasn't heard from her father since she arrived at MC, and it is assumed that he has gone into hiding. The truth of the matter, that she doesn't know, is that the remainder of her herd in Greece, including her father, was wiped out.
Neo's life on the island has been well. The centaurs that arrived were given a small plot of land outside the city where they could roam freely, and live without fear. Neo was able to go to school, make friends and exist as a normal girl. A life she wouldn't have been able to even dream of back home. She had even met other centaurs.
Neo would go on to join the track team in high school and carry on her sport right through into college. She is currently studying to be a nurse.
Additional Information:
-A female Centaur is known as a "Centauride". Despite their bestial appearance, they are known for their beauty in ancient Grecian writings.
-Much like horses, it seems centaurs only sleep lying down for REM sleep, which they need very little of. The rest of the time they go into a light sleep while standing or sitting from which they can wake up easily in case they get attacked and need to run. Also like horses, centaurs tendons and muscles possess the ability to "lock" to prevent fatigue while sleeping when they are standing or sitting upright.
-Neo's Average Body temperature is 38 degrees.
-Has twice as many taste buds as the average human.
-For the most part, Neo will sleep standing up. The only exception to this is during REM sleep. Her muscles and tendons are able to lock in order to prevent muscle fatigue while she sleeps.
-Neo's ears are very much able to reflect her mood as they can move in much the same way horses can.
-Riding a centaur is a deeply personal experience. Forcefully doing so is in many ways the equivalent of rape.
