He couldn't help himself, the temptation had been to strong for him to resist. All he did was poke his head into the room and saw the piano, and well, here he was. His fingers gliding over the keys, the music filling the room, his eyes closed as he played.

In truth he wasn't sure how long he'd played, but finally the song would come to end and he'd open his eyes. It was then that he saw her out of the corner of his eyes, he'd turn to see her, see and hear her applauding. The half dragon would blush. "I...uh...," he'd stammer, saying things in both German and English.

Finally he'd get something coherent out. "Uh...guten tag,....er" he'd take a calming breath, trying to regain his usual calm demeanor, "I mean...hello." @Nameless

Jackie was strolling along the school, partially restless because of boredom. She was on her way to a classroom she knew would be empty and had air conditioning to get a nap, but she stopped when she heard someone playing piano. She didn't remember any classes for that room around that time, so she went and looked to find someone by their lonesome playing the piano. She herself played it, and could tell that the person was no amateur either. She carefully opened the door and slipped in as quietly as she could and just listened. When he finished playing, Jackie was waiting to see if he'd play another song, but instead he turned and found her there, and got a big blush and stammer. She gave him a round of applause. "Hey there! You're pretty good on the piano. How long have you been playing?"

He was being complimented, by a pretty girl, the blush lessened but didn't fade completely. "T-thank you," he'd say, actually smiling a bit. "I've been playing most of my life, my mother taught me," the snake girl was actual the first person he'd played for besides his parents, albeit accidentally.

The half dragon would stand and clear his throat. "I'm Arno," he'd give her a quick bow. "You know the piano?" he'd ask curiously. "I...haven't really met many others who play it," him and his parents had lived a nomadic life.

He'd clear his throat, thinking a moment. "Would you like me to play more?" he'd ask, his blush very briefly darkening.

"I'm Jacquelyn, but just call me Jackie. Yeah, I learned the piano when I was a kid. I'm still pretty good at it, if you're wondering," she gave a grin and a chuckle. "Well, if you want to play more, go for it. I'm just here to kill some time. What songs do you know?"

"Jackie," he'd say with a nod and a smile," "it's good to meet you." This was an unexpected meeting, but it was turning out to be a pleasant one. "Well....come in...I uh, I'd like to hear you play sometime as well," he had a calm sweet smile as they talked.

"As for the music, I mostly know classical, though I want to learn different things too." His fingers would go back to work, gliding over the keys, starting the music back up, the beautiful sounds echoing through the room before finally coming to an end again.

"What kind of music do you play?" he'd ask, glancing at the piano, "have.....have you ever played with someone else?"

"It's good to meet you too, Arno," she nodded back. "I had to learn a few classical songs myself. I think they make you do that no matter what school or which tutor you got. Must be a tradition thing." She shrugged and let him play another piece. When he finished, he asked what kind of music she played, and boy he'd probably be surprised. "I mostly play electronic music. Synths, record scratchers, the whole Disk Jockey thing. But on the piano? Well, like I said, I know a few classics, and a few original pieces I made to add to my music." She had a wide smile as she slithered closer to the piano. "And yeah, I've played with some others before. Though with 3 sets of hands, I learned to play multiple parts. Wanna see?"

He was indeed surprised by her taste in music, but not displeased, in fact he had a look of curiosity. "I've listened to that kind of music but I've never heard in real life," he'd hum in thought, "actually, outside me and my mother playing, I don't think I've ever heard anyone else play in person."

The half dragon would glance down at her arms, he hadn't even noticed. "Yes, I can see how that would be useful when playing music," his eyes would move back to her, blushing a bit when he realized he had been sorta eyeing her though in a non lewd way.

"Uh, yes, I'd love to see," he'd make room for her, adjusting the seat to make it easier for her to use. "It's nice talking to someone and music," it being a pretty girl made it that much better.

"I would play you a sample of what I've been working on, but I left my deck in my dorm. Well, since we have the piano, I'll show you what I can do." With a half-snake body, it was difficult to sit down next to someone, but she managed it. She put her hands on the keys. "Now... how did that one go..." she tapped the keys in a vague rhythm, as if trying to remember the arrangement of notes. "Ah, that's the one." She found the string of notes she was looking for and after counting down from three, her first pair of hands started to play, then after eight measures, her second pair joined in, and then after another eight, her third. It was one of her original pieces set to be the background of an old song, with a high tempo, but a smooth mix and good harmony. When she was done, the song ended with a single punctuation. "Heh, got to love muscle memory. So, what'd you think? Not bad, huh?"

He'd let her play, listening to the music she produced, his eyes looking down at her hands, watching as the second and the third joined. It was fascinating to watching, to see how the sets of hands worked toggled. When the sing came to an end he'd clap. "Amazing," he'd say with a grin, "you worked wonders with the extra arms."

The half dragon would brush some hair from his face. "You said you left your deck on your dorm?" he'd ask. "I'd love to hear you play your preferred music, perhaps we could meet up later for that? Hmm....I could buy us lunch?"

Arno would play a few cords. "So you are a student here?" he'd ask. "I haven't had a chance to meet many of the other students yet, haven't even started classes."

Jackie looked surprised at first then gave the boy a sly smile. "Are you asking me out and hoping for an invite to my dorm?" She'd put a finger on his horn and traced the length and flicked at the tip. "Pretty brave for a new kid, huh?"
