Appearance

(normal human appearance taken)
Prism's true appearance is that of a shining silver humanoid, that lacks features such as a mouth, nose or ears. Even Prism's eyes are little more then holes in the seamless metal body. Standing around 6 foot in height and a having a slim and lithe body frame, Prism is a lot heavier then size would suggest due to the much denser material that makes up their body. However while Prism true appearance is clearly non-human, it extremely unlikely that anyone would see it. This is due to the shape shifting abilities that Prism has. (See Species Abilities and Limitations)
Mental Information
Prism is also very confused about certain things about most other organic creatures. Such as pleasure from eating, seeing it as a necessity alone. Also unlike their siblings who have since entering the world, have found themselves identifying as genders, Prism find the concept completely foreign. Prism never uses gendered pronouns for themselves or others, always using neutral terms like they or their, in order to avoid making mistakes.
Prism is also scared by those who use magic and alchemy even though they are what made them, and are required to make what they must drink to continue living. This is because since their freedom, their original creators intentions for them to effectively be an infinite silver-glass mine, has left Prism un-trusting of those who use them expecting them all to be open to such exploitation and seeing them as nonliving without a mind of their own.
Species Abilities and Limitations
Silver-Glass Shapeshifting (Ability) - Prism is capable of altering their shape at will by physically sculpting their own body. Prism also can then, using the silicon crystals in the Silver-Glass alloy that make up their body, reflect certain wavelengths of light only by using refraction. This allows Prism to selective choose what colouration part of their body has, in order to pass for a human in most cases. However this part of the ability does not allow Prism to effect infer-red and ultraviolet light, meaning those that rely on those wavelength of light to see would see the same thing regardless of this power. Also their is a finite limit on how much light Prism can reflect or choose not to reflex. This means Prism cannot reflect all light or reflect none, in order to blind others or blend into shadowed area completely but could be used as an imperfect sort of camouflage.
Silver-Glass Creation and Manipulation (Ability) - Each day Prism is capable of creating a finite additional mass of Silver-Glass and can control it during it creation. This extra mass could be added to their own in order to increase their body size while using their shape shifting abilities, or be used to make tool or additional appendages. Tool made of silver-glass are not the most perfect in the world, due to the properties of the magical alloy and certain types of extra limbs that Prism could make this way would be useless. An extra arm or tail could function almost as well as a normal one, but wings would not as they could not overcome Prism weight.
Silver-Glass Physiology (Ability and Limitation) - Being made of the magical alloy silver-glass, provides both benefits and weaknesses to Prism. Prism is tougher then the normal human being made of metal and not flesh (Though not that much more so due to the malleability of Silver-Glass.) Inversely the additional weight means that Prism is slower having to overcome it. Prism also does not need to Sleep or Breath, but is required to 'Eat' (By drinking a certain alchemical concoction). Finally and strange to understand, while being made of an alloy that uses both Silver and Silicon, they are also harmful to Prism. Prolonged contact to Silver or Silicon based compounds that do not contain the other element drain Prism of energy, and mean they must 'Eat' to regain it. While bladed or piecing weapons or projectiles made of the same do excessive damage to Prism by breaking the bonds in the Silver-Glass alloy that only magic make possible.
Biography
Created over 50 years by a unidentified mage and alchemist. Prism was create alongside 3 other living alchemical constructs of unique magical alloys that mage also created. Their original purpose was for them to be used as an easy and cheap method of converting the raw material to create those alloys without any work on the mage's part. However during the attempt at creating another of them, a magical accident killed the mage. Without the mage, Prism and their siblings eventually entered a kind of hibernation due to no having access to the alchemical potion needed to sustain them.
2 years ago, the lab of the alchemist was discovered hidden underground when it was dug up as part of laying the foundation for new homes on the island. The authorities were informed of the lab and the constructs, and finding out from the mage's journals that the active construct purpose and the fact they were sentient left them in a awkward spot. The original mage had no documented permissions for creation of sentient life, but being sentient and not seeming dangerous some argued that as sentient creature they deserved to be helped and allowed to try and have a life. Others though argued that while artificial sentient life was protected by law, the inactive state they were in fact effectively sentient life that had already lived and died.
After a year passed of paper work and bureaucracy, those that argued for Prism and their siblings won out saying that a life locked underground until they became inactive was no true life and that they deserved a chance. By order an alchemist created each of the potions that the construct needed to become active. Each of the being reanimated. Now the 4 alchemical elementals live together in a small apartment. Using their abilities of their unique constructions in order to earn the money in order to continue paying alchemist to create the elixir that gives them life.
Prism entered into a artist career, using their talent for sculpting they use to change their appearance and their ability to make more Silver-Glass to create strange yet stunning silver figuring, that bend light in amazing ways. Though impressive, Prism has not had much luck in selling the pieces that they make.
