"It's....a long story," that was an understatement, it was a mess of a situation. "I...me and a few others ended up having to kill it," which had admittedly been difficult and had long term consequences.

"I ended up with with fire stuff," he'd motion to the bandaged burns, "and yeah, bits of the elder god in me." Said bits usually whispered to him to burn everything, like right now to really wanted him to incinerate Alt right now.

"Anyways, that's why I wanted Information on the banishment stuff," he'd say clearing his throat. "I need it."

Altizica tried his hardest not to chuckle at the kids statement on killing the elder god. "Sorry to tell you kid but if the elder god really was killed it either let you kill them or was a really sucky elder god." Since the kid got bits of the elder god inside of him it made a little more sense Altizica supposed. The elder one lived on in these kids and cursed them in a way for trying to kill the being. "If you really want to deal with an elder god then it's best to know what elder god your actually dealing with. Index would definitely know whats up, they have a real knack for these things. If anyone actually had any clue on how to remove the elder god from you safely it would be them."

He'd hum in thought. "Ok, so, can you introduce me to this Index then?" that seemed like the next step. "Does he have a place on the island?" he couldn't really travel if he lived off island, but there could be options.

"And why so willing to help me?" the bandaged head would ask. "I expected you to say no, tell me to get lost," or maybe threaten to eaten him, Rowan didn't exactly expect anything good from an eldritch.

Alt quickly nodded to the child’s question. Taking them to Index would be the easy part, actually convincing them to help would be a different story. “Of course I can introduce you to Index. They live in the depths of the forest where they won’t be disturbed too often.”

Altizica thought for a moment as to why they were actually helping the kid in the first part. They could make up some excuse but the kid might as well know what’s happening. “Eh honestly I’m kinda bored. I’m also now interested in how this all will actually turn out in the end.”

He'd eye the eldritch a moment before snorting and nodding. "Well.......at least you're honest about your reasons," it was perhaps not a good reason, but it was better than anything he expected.

"So, uh, I'll give you my number," he'd say, pulling out his phone, "and you can text me when we can go see your friend." Hs'd give the eldritch his number, though he was a little hesitant to do so.

Altizica quickly took the number as the child gave it to him. They were easily able to jot it down and just put their contact under the name 'Eldritch Touched Child' as they didn't remember if the kid even said their name in the first place. "Alright then kiddo! I'll probably see if this weekend is alright and we can go visit Index when ever you are ready. " Alt pocketed his phone and gave the kid the customary wide, inhuman smile he gave most people.

That was that then, the first step towards possibly removing the eldritch bits from his system. "So, yeah," he'd clear his throat, hesitating a second when he went to leave.

"Uh....Rowan, my name is Rowan," with that he'd leave, walking away, knowing that things were going to get interesting soon enough.
