Practicing

Tiger crept into the graveyard. Cemetaries scared her soooo much, but it was one place no one was so she could practice. She glanced at some gravestones. They were all students! Oh, my, gosh... Tiger thought, getting freaked out. They were probably the last students to be here! Tiger thought a little more logically. "Chillax, Tiger!" she told herself. "That is so not true."

Tiger took a deep breath and concentrated on sunshine. It was a cloudy day, and Tiger loved sunny days. "Ready, go!" She concentrated, but nothing happened.

"Darn! It didn't work!" Tiger stamped her foot angrily It started raining and trees blew around her. "No! NO! It's not flooding again!" It rained harder and a branch fell down off a tree next to her. She heard screams from somewhere outside the graveyard.

"Why won't this ever work?" She thought hard about happy things. "Lana my best friend. Sunny my cat. My old school. Shopping. Gwen Stefani. Parties." It kept raining and being windy.

"One more time. You can do it, Tiger. You can do it." Tiger concentrated hard. Sunny day. Sunny day. Sunny day. Sunny day. The rain calmed down and the wind stopped. It was drizzling. "I DID IT!" Tiger yelled happily. The rain stopped all together. The clouds disappeared and sunshine came through trees.

Tiger fainted from exhaustion.

Beatrice had been on her way to the graveyard. She'd never been there, and wanted to see it. Some people said it was haunted, not likely. Beatrice thought, rolling her eyes as she got closer to her destination...

...when it started to rain. Literally pouring down. Her eye make-up was running down her cheeks, and her dark red hair was ruined. "AAAAAAAAAAAH! This is just PERFECT!" Beatrice yelled in anger. She continued to scream for the next few minutes until the rain finally let up.

"Well, I guess my yelling really is horrible... especially if it scared away a storm." Beatrice said sarcastically, as she started to walk into the graveyard.

Glancing at her surroundings, The dark red headed girl gave a snort. "This place is no more haunted then my dorm room." She said to herself, rolling her eyes as she wandered further in.

"What the-?" Beatrice said, raising a brow, as she saw some girl lying on the ground. "What a lovely place to have a nap." She said, walking over to Tiger with an annoyed expression. "Get up, You bafoon." beatrice complained, giving the student a little nudge with her foot. "HELLO!? Wake up! i haven't gotten all day you know."

Beatrice continued to complain to the girl for the next few minutes, clearly thinking she was in a deep sleep. If Tiger didn't move soon, Beatrice would freak... thinking she was dead or something.

Tiger groaned. "Wha..." Her head hurt from falling over, and she felt dizzy. She regained focus and looked up to see a girl staring at her. "Hi... wait, oh, no... your makeup is all over! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make it rain, it just does that when I'm mad! I'm so sorry!!! Don't tell anyone, please!" Tiger stood up shakily and rubbed her head.

"Chill. Before you start to annoy me." Beatrice replied, rolling her eyes only the slightest bit. She really hated when people were all squeemish around her. "And what are you talking about? How can it me YOUR fault that it rained?" Beatrice said, clearly missing the fact that tiger had powers to control the weather.

Tiger put one hand on her hip. "I have weather powers. And sor-ry for 'annoying' you. Oh, yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for asking." Tiger rolled her eyes and grinned to let Beatrice know she didn't really mind. "I really am sorry for the rain, though."

Beatrice smirked, maybe she could turn Tiger to the dark side... she certainly seemed persuadable. "Well, My make-up can be fixed." She replied, "So no worries."

"But, I just have one question... exactly why were you out here?"

"I was practicing, duh. I tried to make it sunny, but it didn't work. I got mad, and it started raining so I got even madder and it got worse. I finally got it to be sunny, but it made me faint. Usually I'm happy and the weather is normal, but when I get mad it storms." Tiger winced because her head still hurt.

Beatrice rolled her eyes. "That's sad." she replied, examining one of her black nails. "You can't even control your own powers." Beatrice continued, giving a sigh of pity.

"Yeah, I know," Tiger said. "That's why I was practicing. And guess what? I got it. I just have to make myself dizzy trying. And faint."

Beatrice laughed. But not in a mocking way. She was simply amused by the girl's statement. "Dizzy? Well I can't say that's ever happend to me." Beatrice replied. slightly grinning.

"Ugh, my hair." Beatrice muttered moments later, realizing her hair was still soaking wet and make-up ruined.
So no less that a second later, Beatrice had switched her appearance to a dryer one. And her make-up? lets just say it was fixed well enough to go to a party.

Turning back to Tiger, she gave a snort. "I'm an appearance shifter. I guess that's what i'm calling it now." she explained, giving off a bored expression. "Some powers eh? what use is changing your appearance... or voice for that matter." Sometimes beatrice wished she could be the one controlling the weather.. or something powerful like that. "You're lucky you can control something useful."
