"That's very cool," he nodded his head. "I am new I just got here this week and I'm adjusting nicely. It's not a bad school." He then turned to her and asked him,"Could I see a demonstration of your power," he asked her. Maybe not the blowing up but the freezing part."

"You already demonstrated how to blow up things quite well. But um ok but I don't know what to freeze though...." Isabelle said looking around the hallway for something. Isabelle put her hand on the wall and it began to grow colder, then ice began to form on it.

His eyes widened as he saw frost and then actual ice on the stone. "Wow," he breathed out in amazment. "How long have you been practicing," he asked her still amazed. "And how do you do it? Do you make it through the vapors in the air?" His was very interested.

"Actually I don't know how to explain it, I never really questioned it before. Everyone in my family has powers, so it's common for me." Isabelle said as she unfroze the wall, which was also part of her powers. To freeze and unfreeze.

"I haven't even told my family of my gift. I just don't want to see their reaction to it and well their very close-minded people. I suppose I'll have to tell them about it later," he said still staring at the now unfrozen wall. It was an amazing gift she had. And she was lucky to be able to control it as well. He on the other hand couldn't seem to do so.

"Oh that's a shame." Isabelle said taking her hand off the wall. The was something about that hallway that didn't feel right with Isabelle, it made her somewhat on edge. "Um this place creeps me out a little. Would you like to go somewhere else with me? Or if you want to stay and practice that’s fine with me." She said.

"Hmm maybe your right. I'm sure there are more hallways. Just so long as no one catches out of bed becaise we should have been in bed a while ago. Though I'm sure no one listens to those rules. Rules are meant to be broken," Dev shoved his hands in his pockets looking at her giving her a simple shrug.

"Oh I don't think we will get in trouble." Isabelle said, she had been out at night before and no one said anything to her before about it. "So where do you want to go?" She asked, she hadn't spent much of her time inside.

"Hmm I dunno I haven't been here long enough to decide. But you have and you can tell me some places and I could just pick one or you can pick one altogether," Dev suggested to her and it was the truth. He had no idea about this school. It was huge. He'd gotten lost a couple times.

"You pick. Tower, lounge, ballroom, lake, forest, cliff. I think those are the only places I have been too." Isabelle said, trying to come up with others places. "School lawn." She added, she hadn't been to many places.
