Practicing in the dark

It was dark. It was obvious to anyone who wasn't blind. But it was so dark, someone would swear they were blind, until they saw the light from a lanturn coming from behind a grave.

Raven was standing beside the lanturn, looking torwards the ground, eyes closed. He had his hands out, palms up. Shadows were slowing seeping into his skin, as there was a great mass of the dark energy at the graveyard. He sighed and closed his hands, cutting off the energy flow. Raven turned torwards the lanturn and held out his hand to it. Dark energy flowed from out of his hand and surrounded the light inside, causing instant blackness. He released it and the light came instantly back. The boy grinned.

He turned, his cloak twirling with him. Ravens palm was outstretched torwards the stranger in a flash. "Maybe, what does it concern you?" "I haven't seen her before" He thinks to himself

He slowley lowered his palm, and his heart jumped at the sight of the flames. "You, you study shadow magic to" He smirked, "And I thought I was the only one"

Raven stared at the ground, eyes closed, thinking for a long moment. Finally, he looked up at her, his face barley shown from his hood, "Do you go to the school?"

"Oh really, tell me then please, how old are you?" He guessed in her 20's.
