James thought and thought of something Chris could create. He finally thought of something.
"Uhh, can I have a wall to show you tricks?"

James couldn't believe his eyes. He thought he was seeing things for a second, but then realised that this was Chris' doing. "Thanks" he simply said out of amazement. He runs up the wall, pushes himself away from it, and performs a double somersault, and lands flawlessly on the roof.

James gave Chris a small but warm smile. "Yeah. My ability to breathe underwater could save your life sometime." His smile grew bigger, as if he was about to laugh. It wasn't intimidating. At least, he hoped not...

Wings.
Two wings appeared on Chris'
"I can change certain parts of myself, like these things back here. Gills shouldn't be that much of a problem for me..."

James was slightly disappointed, but didn't show it. Besides, he was too amazed at the beautiful wings to care. He then asked "So, how long did it take for you to master your ability?"

Chris had always been a bit of a competitor.
