"Well then, I guess I have time to see everything there is to see on Manta Carlos." Natasha answered with a grin, "Since I am immortal - or almost anyways. I supposedly age extremely slowly..." Nat confessed, not even sure herself how that worked, was a year equal to a day in her life, or was it something else?. Natasha still looked like she did in Catherine the Great's time period. And there were no new wrinkles, or gray hairs, or anything to indicate that she wasn't totally immortal. Maybe the witch who told her that was wrong, and Natasha was truly ageless like other vampires.
"Where does a person go if they wanted to go up to the space station?" Natasha asked Tengu, now extremely curious about how they were going to get up there. "Is it a magic portal, like an elevator of sorts?" Nat added curiously as she glanced around thoughtfully and then up at the blue sky above, wondering if they could, perhaps, spot the space station from where they were standing on the island.
When Tengu remarked that Natasha was good-hearted to want to adopt a cat from a shelter, she couldn't help blushing a little at the compliment. "I don't know about that... I often wish I were a better person sometimes," she admitted, "But, yeah, the idea of adopting a cat or two... maybe a bonded pair even ... makes me happy." she stated truthfully, not adding that it would make her feel less lonely and like she was needed. Being immortal, while an amazing thing, had its drawbacks too - like being left behind, unloved, or alone. It was something Natasha still struggled with. She was a friendly person who loved making new friends and meeting people, but at the same time, the thought of losing people terrified her.
(No worries, I know people get busy with real life and stuff. :) )
