"Well then, I guess I have time to see everything there is to see on Manta Carlos." Natasha answered with a grin, "Since I am immortal - or almost anyways. I supposedly age extremely slowly..." Nat confessed, not even sure herself how that worked, was a year equal to a day in her life, or was it something else?. Natasha still looked like she did in Catherine the Great's time period. And there were no new wrinkles, or gray hairs, or anything to indicate that she wasn't totally immortal. Maybe the witch who told her that was wrong, and Natasha was truly ageless like other vampires.

"Where does a person go if they wanted to go up to the space station?" Natasha asked Tengu, now extremely curious about how they were going to get up there. "Is it a magic portal, like an elevator of sorts?" Nat added curiously as she glanced around thoughtfully and then up at the blue sky above, wondering if they could, perhaps, spot the space station from where they were standing on the island.

When Tengu remarked that Natasha was good-hearted to want to adopt a cat from a shelter, she couldn't help blushing a little at the compliment. "I don't know about that... I often wish I were a better person sometimes," she admitted, "But, yeah, the idea of adopting a cat or two... maybe a bonded pair even ... makes me happy." she stated truthfully, not adding that it would make her feel less lonely and like she was needed. Being immortal, while an amazing thing, had its drawbacks too - like being left behind, unloved, or alone. It was something Natasha still struggled with. She was a friendly person who loved making new friends and meeting people, but at the same time, the thought of losing people terrified her.

(No worries, I know people get busy with real life and stuff. :) )

"Ohh! So immortalish at least?" Tengu's eyes would zoom on on Natasha's face, scrutinizing all of the features of her face "Well, you look great for your age!" confirmed Tengu with a nod and friendly smile.

"Anyway, to get to the space station, you have to take these teleporters that will beam up to space. Really cool stuff! No idea how it works." explained Tengu with shrug, not bothering to learn their operation after getting a massive headache over when she asked her Conscience that very question.

Though Nashasha claimed otherwise, Tengu personally found her a kind and humble person even if she seemed a little shy to truely admit herself.

"Ahh, and humble too! Well I am pretty good at picking out good people and I can tell that your one of them okey? So you don't have to sell yourself short~ Anyway, I will be sure to show you all around this wonderful island... and maybe even a bit beyond too. You know, when I am not working delivering mail. Sounds good Natasha?"

((Apoligies to keep you waiting. Anyway, I am thinking we could wrap up this thread soon but I would definely like to have Tengu and Natasha to have a few more adventures together on the island together in the future so let me know if you have any interest Zora!))

Natasha actually let out a little good-natured laugh when Tengu stated that she looked good for her age, loving the harpy's straightforward logic, "I like that... I'm immortalish, yes, I like that." she stated with a grin.

"I honestly don't understand much about space, or how one can even get there..." she admitted to Tengu, thinking the beams and teleporters sounded very weird and too technical for a person who, until a few moments ago, didn't even realise that a normal person could actually visit the outer space. "I guess I'll see for myself when we go up there," Natasha said quite excited about the idea.

"Thank you, Tengu..." Natasha said quietly, touched, when Tengu stated that knew without a doubt that Natasha was a good person. Sometimes over the years, Nat had doubted the goodness in her, and now hearing another person boldly tell her she was kind and humble, made Natasha feel better about life, and blessed to have met Tengu. "Let's go get some ice-cream," she said suddenly, "my treat." she said with a wide smile.

(Done. And most definitely, I would like that very much if they got up to some fun together later! :) I will mark the thread as finished then.)
