I'm making a tiny alien tree baby, and she needs a new home. She was cast out into space in an escape pod, got pulled into earth's gravity and crashed into Manta Carlos. She can't communicate outside of classrooms and needs a family to love her and help teach her how to function as a bipedal humanoid instead of a tree rooted in the ground. She has a piece of paper with a message written in a common space language, explaining that her species was being harvested for their wood and the fruits that grew on their branches. She is not to be told that she isn't from this planet, and that she doesn't belong to whichever family adopts her.
Her earth name is Calanthe Zahrah, which can change when she gets adopted. She's ~3 and a half feet tall and will never grow taller than 4 feet. She's made entirely out of plant matter, which makes her light, and easily injured. She will be starting in preschool, as she has about as much knowledge of how to move around and do things for herself as a 3 year old.
Mechanical things scare her, as do large, loud dogs and dark rooms. She feels uncomfortable without having a view outside, and she loves caring for plants and small animals.
