More like getting lost Puu had ran away from it all. She was so very afraid of so many things. Puu knew she should do something about it, help herself, but she always felt so overwhelmed when more than three people were in the same room with Puu. Even now, despite Hadrian's aura, she felt a small twinge of panic and fear just thinking about it.
"Niin erilainen etten ole varma pystynkö selviämään täällä..."
Puu said, again in her mother tongue. She knew she was being rude but right now Puu knew her honesty was because of Hadrian's aura. And her loophole was speaking in finnish.

Puu flinched a bit when Hadrian asked if she was okay. Puu was ashamed, she had made Hadrian worried about her.
"I-I am n-not sure i-if I a-am okay. I-I ne-need to see af-after so-some more ti-time."
Puu frowned, those were her true feelings. She had not wanted to speak her true feelings. But somehow, although Puu knew it was his aura's fault, she couldn't get mad at Hadrian. More like she felt a bit grateful.

Puu was about to decline when Hadrian offered her water but then she pulled her back bag off and pulled her watering can out.
"I-I was get-getting low o-on the wa-water for pl-plants, th-thank you."
Puu took the offered water bottle and filled her watering can. Then she gave the bottle back to Hadrian.
"Y-y-you a-are a go-good person H-H-Hadrian. I-I am n-not good wi-with soci-socializing and c-can't help pe-people. B-but you c-can. W-we all ha-have our str-strengths and weak-weaknesses. Y-you should be pr-rpoud of y-yours."

Hadrian often worried about his aura, how people might react to the feeling of belonging, let alone to the new affects he didn't know about. "Anytime Puu," he'd take a drink of the water before putting it away, "people used to try to make me be a warrior angel....but I don't think that was for me."

"I don't know if I'm very good with socializing either," he gave her a smile, "I do enjoy it though." He'd pick up a feather that had fallen from his wings and play with it a little, "I do like helping people," his face would flush when she told him to be proud, "thank you Puu, I'll try to be proud."

Tilting his head, he'd slips the feather into her hair with a smile, "I like people, like making friends, would you like to be my friend?" She seemed alone, which made him want to help her, not only that but he'd genuinely enjoyed talking to her.

Puu shook her head to Hadrian's words about people trying to make him a warrior angel. He seemed like a creature much too gentle for that.
"I-I-I d-do not appr-approve of vi-violence. I-I d-do not a-approve th-that s-so ma-many people wi-with po-power a-are not st-strong enough t-to bear it o-on th-this island. B-b-but y-you are a st-strong person, I-I can see i-it. I ca-can feel it."
Puu was getting used to talking the truth, it felt good. But only on this situation. If it was anyone else but Hadrian Puu was talking to she'd clamp up, or tone down her words immensely.

Puu looked curiously when Hadrian's face flushed, of course avoiding looking into his eyes. Her words could not be powerful enough to make him react like that. Puu was just a noble forest gnome, there was no way her words had the power to make an angel react like that. And yet it had happened, and that in turn made Puu's face flushed.

Puu, instinctively, flinched back a bit when Hadrian slipped the feather into her hair. Puu wasn't used to physical contact, since she could count the times a person had touched her with the fingers on her one hand. Puu felt guilty for avoiding Hadrian's touch but she couldn't help it. But before she could apologize Hadrian asked her to be his friend. That wiped Puu's mind blank.
"I-I-I-I..."

Puu could not get a word out so she breathed a bit. It must've been pity, Hadrian being helpful. Yes, that must've been it. There was no way Hadrian wanted to be Puu's friend because of her. This thought helped her calm down, and made her a little lonely.
"I-I-I'm ho-honored b-b-but I-I'm not fr-fr-friend mat-material. I rea-really app-appreciate your pi-pity an-and wi-will t-t-to help b-but I-I d-d-don't w-wa-want to sub-subject you t-to m-my com-company an-any m-m-more than nec-necessary."

"Pity?" he'd tilt his head and look at the tiny gnome, "I don't pity people, I don't like to people people." He'd sigh a little and scratch the back of his head, "you say that you don't think you're friend material, but I disagree Puu."

He'd hum in thought, his hand scratching at his chin, "I've enjoyed talking to you, so I'd like to do it more in the future, so I'd say that means you are very much friend material."

The young angel would give her a smile, hid head tilting a little to one side, "sometimes it can be difficult to see one's self worth, for a long time I thought I was worthless, then I came to this island and I started to see things differently." He'd gently tap his fingers on the tree, "I see value in you and enjoy talking with you."

Puu listened to Hadrian's words and felt so embarrassed. He was so kind, Puu felt like she had deceived him. She had only ever been even close to friends with an old lady, and she had been so kind. But she had been old, and Puu knew she had been a little out of her mind from being senile. So Puu had no confidence in her social skills, or friendship skills. The latter she didn't have at all.
Puu glanced at Hadrian, somewhere around his neck, and shook her head a bit.
"I-I-I am su-sure you wi-will g-get an-anno-annoyed with m-m-me in the fut-future. Af-after a-a-all, I-I stu-stutter."
Puu pulled her hair in front of her face, she was certainly annoying Hadrian at this very moment.
"A-a-and yo-you a-are not wor-woth-worthless. Y-you a-a-are su-such a nice per-person. H-h-how could y-y-you be wo-worthless."
