Trinity was bouncing around on the dock making flying noises.
TAKE OFF! she said and ran in circles around the dock, then running forward she jumped off the dock and swam under the water doing summer saults in the water before resurfacing.
Oh no! A submarine! she said and climbed back up on the dock.
Safe! she flopped over on the side the warmth the dock had soaked up from the sun seeping into her cold, wet cheek.

She'd watched the girl from a distance, and slowly but surely, her curiosity had drawn her forward. Her thumb was in her mouth, as a nervous habit, and she walked forward.

"What are you playing?" she asked in a small voice, having not made any noise to get to the place that she was now, just a few feet away from Trinity.

Her large brown eyes were dull, void of fear and happiness, but held the clean innocence that made it so that though they were dull, she was not frightening.

Trinity rolled over and looked at the small girl and smiled sitting up on her feet.
I'm playing "Airplane" Wanna play with me? I don't have any friends except my brother and sister, but they're old and won't play games like this with me very much... but she wasn't sad about it. She knew that Bella and Lis didn't play with her 'cause they didn't have time. She didn't mind. She just had to make new friends...
unfortunately she couldn't find many people to be friends with around here...

Fishi frowned. "I don't know how to play it." she said shyly, sticking her thumb back in her mouth, and looking very much like a lost puppy dog. Then she plucked up some courage, "could you maybe teach me?" her voice was quiet, barely above a whisper, but she couldn't bring herself to say it louder.

She pulled the huge threadbare hoody closer around her shoulders with one hand, her strange birthmark visible for a moment.
