“Pssh, you’d think a criminal would have better security than this.” The individual said, floating in a sea of blue pixels. With a swipe of her hand, the data cubes rearranged themselves, creating a door which she passed through with a chuckle.

Sass was dressed differently than usual, wearing a white and blue jacket over her usual sweater with the hood pulled up, her eyes seemingly shadowed no matter where light came from.

Floating through the door, she looked around at the fairly standard surroundings, at least when it came to phone data. Apps, Some photos, Mediocre copy paste security.

“Guess even on Magic Island your datas not safe, go figure.” She mocked, making her way through the device a short ways before deciding it was time to get down to business. Snapping her fingers, a phone seemingly materialized in her hand, although this wasn’t entirely necessary, she could easily just talk if she needed to contact the target, this way was a little more fun.

The phone rang, causing the digital girl to grin slightly, this would be fun.

She
Ailbhe was enjoying a lovely evening. She went to a few bars, got asked to leave, chatted up a few people, stole some money, artfully got out of a drunken fight. It was nice. She counted the amount of money in the wallet she stole casually, humming to herself before she quietly slipped it into her pocket. She set her hat straight as she continued walking around.

Her phone buzzed, not playing any sound since she had it on silent. Upon realising that she was receiving a call, she pulled it out and checked the number. Huh, she doesn’t recognise it. She stuck the phone against her ear as she answered it. She was kind of expecting it to be some kind of sale company, or someone from her crew having to use a different phone to call her.

It didn’t really answer. She loosened up a bit as she smiled. “Hellooo~” She had a sing-song tune to her voice as her voice drawled. To the caller, she would seem drunk. Any of her crew mates would speak to her as usual, while people she didn’t know would usually hang up. But she couldn’t really care, since she was kind of curious.

“Hey there little miss pirate captain, how's it going? Probably not as good as it was before now that I called… right?” Sass replied cheerfully, although one could detect a cynical undertone to it. “I’m not with the cops, don’t worry. However, you’ve caught my attention regardless. That can take some effort to do. Good job.” She joked, leaning back in her digital dimension.

“I’m looking to make a little deal with you, hope it's not too far out of your way. Shouldn’t be with where you are right now. That was a nice sleight of hand by the way. Saw it on a camera, not that you have to worry, the video’s been doctored, though I still have the original. ‘Course it wouldn’t be a huge deal of incriminating evidence given your track record.” She chatted, making sure to casually grab the woman's attention with some of her seemingly flippant remarks. If they were any sort of decent criminal, someone having evidence on them would be a point of instant interest.

”Look for a big pink haired woman in the Crooked Gull. If you don’t know where it is, the map on your phone has a pin on it. If you don’t hear out the offer, have fun replacing all your electronics.” She finished with a smug grin, hanging up before the other woman could respond, not that she wasn’t still listening.

She
Ailbhe kept trying to do her own input, but found herself interrupted everytime. She had a good idea whoever called her could see her somehow, so she pouted when they hung up. “Awhhh, I had more to say.” She had a pouting tone to her voice as she slipped her phone back into a pocket.

She hummed as she stood there. This was quite the dilemma! She wasn’t too concerned with her phone, the only electronic she owned, getting fried. But she did quite like this island, and getting arrested for petty theft? She’d read up on the pardon laws, she would rather her past crimes weren’t used. She really was trying to keep her current crimes under the radar!

Decisions, decisions. She had been planning to go to the Crooked Gull anyway, but not like this. She’d left her weapons back home... this was a little predicament. If this person wanted to get her in trouble, then all they’d need to do would be to show the video. But this implied they wanted to use Ailbhe for something. The question was what.

Honestly, Ailbhe was curious. She had the feeling that whoever called her didn’t get her number from someone else, and that she clearly knew who Ailbhe was. In the end, curiosity won Ailbhe over and she went to the Crooked Gull.

Slava sat in the Crooked Gull, downing her second beer. She had been waiting for hours already, glancing at the damn phone next to her constantly. That little squirt, ordering her around. Slava was ages older than her, goddammit! Slava had existed before the damn internet! And now she was ordered by a girlie who lived in the damn place.
Slava sighed and combed her finger through her hair. The Crooked Gull could barely be called a pub, it smelled like puke and piss. No way even Slava could uplift the mood here. So she concentrated on her beer, waiting for this woman Sass had told her about.
Slava turned around on her stool by the counter and stared at the door. She had been given the directions on how the chick looked like. And what do you now, soon a woman that matched the description walked in. She looked like a nice one too. But it wasn't the time for that. Yet.
Slava stood up, she stood oit above the crowd very clearly and her ridiculously pink hair was like a homing beacon. She trusted the woman would notice her and she had a cocky grin on her face when the woman started approaching her.
"Yo. You're the possible newbie, right? Let's go somewhere more private."
Slava pointed to one of the booths and took the lead, heading to sit in it.

((Something like this?))

She
Ailbhe walked into the Crooked Gull, her nose wrinkled as she stepped foot in. She had heard it wasn't exactly the nicest establishment but it was without doubt the worst alcohol serving establishment she had stepped foot into. She did indeed spot the pink haired woman. The... very tall, pink haired woman. The very muscular pink haired woman. Ailbhe really regretted not detouring to grab her gun, at least.

She walked towards this woman, her mouth opened as she was about to speak before she was interrupted. She held her tongue from any remarks and followed this woman to the booth she had pointed at. She slid into the booth, arms crossed in front of her.

She looked the pink haired woman up and down. She's tall, muscular, she has a scar above her right eye. Ailbhe definitely knew she wouldn't be able to beat this woman in an all out fight, especially seeing how she didn't have any weapons. Ailbhe has muscles, sure, but hers are more similar to a swimmer's build rather than a fighter's. Her best bet would be to be able to sprint to the water. No matter how good this lady is, Ailbhe would be at advantage in the water. At least, Ailbhe could swim away if worst comes to worst.

She huffed as she leaned back in her seat. She propped her feet up on the table in front of them and put her arms behind her head. She didn't take off her hat as she looked at Slava lazily. "So... what?" She didn't sound all that interested, and had a vague tone of distaste in her voice. She emphasised all of this by yawning afterwards.

Slava liked and hated the woman the second she saw her. She seemed kinda on edge and pissed off but could look nonchalant and bored at the same time. Slava had a feeling this woman was gonna poke, no, stab at her many times. And why not. Slava could take it. Only idiots cared about those kinds of things.
When they sat down the woman looked Slava over. That amused her and Slava did have a small smirk on her lips as the woman scanned her. Slava could guess what the woman thought. No way she'd beat Slava in a brawl. Good that she was clear on that. Though if the woman was one to make such rundowns in the first meeting she was already kind of suited for what Sass was up to.

Slava leaned back a bit too, setting the phone on the side. She yawned a little, she had had a one-on-one session with this dude who was desperate about getting as ripped as possible. And getting into Slava's pants. Well, the dude was hot enough but too full of himself. So Slava dodged his every attempt at flirting by ordering him to do more pushups.

When the woman talked Slava pfftd and laughed. The woman's tone was as disinterested as they came and Slava grinned at her shrugging.
"Don't 'what' me, honey. Because I don't know. I'm only supposed to be the 'muscle'."
Slava did air quotes when she said muscle and kelt grinning all the way through. No humor without self-deprification.
"Now we got to wait for the squirt to show up. The one that called you here. She's the one actually interested in you. I haven's still seen why."
That was a slight lie, but a damn good one. Slava stopped to make a small scan of the woman herself, to make a statement.

The phone blinked to life, revealing Sass’s form. “I ain’t a squirt! I’m already 3 years old musclehead!” She said indignantly, her hood coming off as she closed in on the screen. ”Turn me around pirate girl so I can give this bubblegum dragon a piece of my mind!” She said, angrily, lightning flashing behind her on the screen, although she quickly came back to her senses, pulling back up the hood.

“So, you actually came, smart move” The virus said, attempting to maintain at least some level of intimidation, even though it was likely completely dispelled by her earlier outburst. “As you probably heard from my coworker, you have caught my attention with your particular skill set and accomplishments.” She said, crossing her legs, bringing the lower halves of them into view, or not into view more really, showing the cutoff points where they digitized around mid calf.

“I’m from out there, the place with all of you non magic folk. Even with enough computing power to put Nasa Bases to shame, it was a little bizarre to comprehend that this place with all of its magic is real.” She continued, putting her hands together on a table she materialized out of data. “Firepower that could put nuclear weapons to shame live throughout the island. Messing with that is just asking to die really. The streets are safe here. Too safe.” She said, a dark tone taking over her voice.

“Life is still just life. No zombie outbreaks, no dark lords, no giant robots. This place is as boring as the rest of this rock.” Sass complained rather childishly, “So I figured it might be time to stir the pot a little. I’m looking for some other similarly minded folks who might want to lend a hand to a poor little program, bored of facing the best chess computers." She explained, taking a dramatic tone at the end, but overall hoping the other woman would have enough brainpower to fill in the blanks in what she said.

Ailbhe simply blinked when the phone came to life. She recognised the voice as the girl who called her on her own phone. It, frankly, took everything in Ailbhe’s power to not just burst out laughing where she sat. But there was the slightest smirk on her face as she pulled her legs back down from the table.

She decided that doing her usual absent minded hum while he listened to Sass’ villain speech would annoy the little virus, so Ailbhe kept quiet. Once Sass finished speaking, it was Ailbhe’s turn. “Soooo, one. I am also from ‘out there’. I am basically a human. Two. You should know this if you know who I am, which is why I assume you brought me here.” Ailbhe’s tone had completely shifted as she leaned forward. She held up her hand and held up her fingers as she came up with a new point.

She looked between Slava and Sass. Seeing what Sass seemed to be trying to imply with her villain monologue, and that Slava admitted to being the ‘muscle’, Ailbhe could definitely guess. “Three. Villain monologues are adorable, sweetie, but they’re pointless. They just waste time.” She had an extreme patronising tone as she spoke. “And four. You haven’t even really said what role I would serve, you know. I’m a woman of many talents, and surely you have need of one of them?” She had a mixture of a smug tone to her voice and a sing-song tune.

Slava did start laughing at Sass' outburst and she enjoyed every second of it. She smirked at Sass, who wasn't facing her. Sass was always such a hoot, the girl was named appropriately.
"Relax squirt, or you'll start lagging. And you don't wanna do that before explaining the deal to the newbie."
Slava turned to look at the said newbie, now intrigued. Sass had called her pirate girl. And pirates were Slava's favourite kinds of girls. They could hold their ground while drinking and in bed.

Slava listened to Sass' villain speech with amusement and slight nostalgia. She had held the same kind of speech to her when Slava had been scouted. Naturally Slava had jumped to the chance to do small scale crime right away. The normal life had started to bore her too. Sure Manta Carlos was a cool place with all kinds of faces, but Sass had a point. It was boring. You coukd find a good fight anytime but Slava missed the crime, the thrill, the power. And, if Slava was being honest, she missed the companions. No friends, or buddies. Companions. Sass had seemed interesting enough so here Slava was, hiding her smirk at Sass' speech.

Slava listened to the woman's response and raised her other brow a bit. The pirate girl could indeed stand her ground, though the tone she spoke to Sass with caused a small jab of irritation. But Slava wasn't stupid and knew Sass could also stand her ground. So Slava leaned back, raising her arms up and hands behind her head.
"The pirate girl has a good point Sass. How about you ask her what use could she be to us? Besides offering some top quality entertainment for me. And some top quality looks, if I might add."
Slava had her trademark confident and bit amused grin on her face and she winked at the woman.
