The lake was so beautiful at night, with a full moon creating an ethereal glow along the water, and with winter there was an equally gorgeous glow on the ice. Yamato had been wanting to photograph it for a long time, and now that he had a grasp on nighttime photography, he was finally ready.
The kitsune’s tail flicked back and forth behind him as he messed with the settings on his camera, taking test shots on the dock. He was alone, and perhaps he should have brought someone with him—but Yamato didn’t want to bother anyone, making them go out in the freezing cold in the middle of the night. Yamato figured he would be fine. It was school grounds, and it shouldn’t take too long.
Although…the lake was certainly not the only beautiful thing he could see around that night. The way the moonlight was hitting the icicles from trees, and the snow covered towers in the distance…
Ahh, the scenery was just too beautiful that night. Perhaps he would shoot more besides just the lake.
Crouching down beside his camera bag, Yamato started going through his lenses. He had a brand new lense--a gift from Yura!--that would be perfect for shooting the towers in the distance. He sat down in his torn jeans--not exactly winter-appropriate, but he was a fox and the cold did not bother him nearly as much as it did humans--and started switching the lenses on his camera.
