A shadow slipped into the ballroom, making almost no noise whatsoever. It made it's way over to the grand piano, then stepped into the light to put down some sheet of music on it. It was in a corner, but it's music could be heard throughout the ballroom when played.

It was really Dark, almost midnight. Dani had already put her guitar in her dorm, but she couldn't sleep. It was by far the most hot night she had ever felt in the dorm! She tried the music room earlier, but it was locked. Then she tried the Ballroom, which was still unlocked. The moon was waxing, if it had been any smaller, she would have not been able to see.

Looking around to see if anybody was in there with her, she slid into the seat with a shiver; It was hot in her dorm but freezing in here. She placed the first page of music in the palcey thing, She hit the first note.
"Crashed on the floor when I moved in, this little bungalow with some strange new friends. Stay up too late, and I'm to thin. We promised each other it's till the end. Now we're spinning empty bottles it's the five of us," she turned the page, ", with pretty eyed boys girls die to trust. I can't resist the dy, No I can't resist the day..."

Slow applause behind her? No...directly above her.
There Judas stood...upside down as if he were standing on the ballroom's high ceilings. No wonder she hadn't noticed him.
He stood watching her, upside down, a slight grin on his face.
"Not bad, madame, though I question the sanity in playing at this time of the night. You must be awfully chilly. Want my coat?"

Dani looked up in surprise, her knee knocking the piano, therefore knocking the pages off and making them landing on her foot; scaring her, and then making her fall off the seat. And there she was, with her legs sprawled over the chair, her back on the floor, and her eyes staring up at him. Her pages were neatly on the floor.
"Yes, I'd like to have that.I could not sleep, the dorm was hot. Now that I have answered your question, answer mine. Why hang from a ceiling?" She righted herself and picked up her music. "Is the floor better? It's quite solid, if your afraid of falling through." she chuckled light and placed her music black in it's stand and slid back into the seat. "I'm Dani. I can continue my song if you'd like, Mr...?"

Judas' flowing black trenchcoat floated down to her, and he scratched his chin, still lying back against the ceiling.
"Well, you know, it's a long story, but I find I enjoy it up above, gazing down on everything around me like a bird or angel. They're far more advanced than human beings doomed to walk the pitiful earth beneath their feet. Don't die of cold, by the way."
He paused.
"Do continue, I was enjoying it. I'm Judas, Judas Anderson. And you, most charming madame, what shall I call you? Miss Frostbite?"

Dani chuckled and took the coat from the air. "You may call me Dani, kind monsieur!" Dani said, playing the piano's notes softly, then louder. "All around me are familiar face, worn out places, familiar places. Bright and Early for their daily races. Going nowhere, Going nowhere. Tears are feeling up their glasses; No expression, no expression. Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow; No tomorrow, No tomorrow. And I find it kinda funny, find it kinda sad. The dreams in which I'm dying I've ever had. I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take. When people run in circles it very, very Mad World.... Mad World..."

"Ah, I'm quite familiar with that song, how marvelously poetic that you should read my very mind with it."
Judas chuckled.
"Except the part about tears and sorrow, kind of annoying, that. I do see 'no tomorrow' for this Academy, though."

Dani nodded. "I agree. The academy is either going to be destroyed or brought close to ruin. The student's are taking sides, some are even leaving. I had a close friend leave..." Dani frowned and put her hands in her lap, lost in thought.

Judas chuckled, ruffling his fingers through his lengthened black hair.
"Hmph, it's for the better...tell me, have you chosen sides? These days it seems like one must choose a side or be ripped apart in between them..."

Dani shrugged. "I know I'm on not on the bad side, but I'm wondering if I join the good side, what could I do? I mean, is the good side even that good? I think that I'm just going to.... well, I haven't really figured out what I'm going to do..." she shook her head and rested it on the piano. She pulled the coat closer and stifled a yawn.

"Good side even that good? Don't overthink things, mon ami! The good side is good because they want to protect the academy from the group that wants to destroy it and kill everyone on the grounds...isn't that good enough?"
