Beatrice snorts. This guy was a joke. "Obviously. But most girls also aren't as rich and have very powerful, influential dads. So, yeah." She grumbles, holding onto him tighter as they skirt around Mud. She hated mud.

She groans. "Why does this -hurt- so much?" Her tail flips about without her control, slipping under the boy's chin and around his neck several times, along with whacking him in the face. Her tail was very long. And fluffy.

She sniffles as the night air grows chiller and cold. She takes her hair out of the band it was in to help warm her. She starts to shiver. Her oh-so-pricey design clothes were -not- suitable for this weather.

Although, she was glad she had the boy with her. If only for heat and help.

“Nice”, Eurus replied, nodding. He cast his eyes around them, trying to think of another topic. This was not the way this sort of thing was supposed to happen. There should be much less ankle spraining and much more blushing and eyelash batting. Eurus wondered vaguely if his bad luck somehow spread to those around him, but as he didn’t care much either way he quickly forgot about it.

Noticing Beatrice letting her hair down, Eurus realized that she must be cold. Oh, and she was shivering. That probably should have tipped him off too. He’d already diverted the breeze from them; there was nothing else he could do with his powers to help with the cold. Eurus thought for a moment, then moved to hold Beatrice a little closer, attempting to cover more of her with his arms. She would either appreciate this or slap him. At least either one might start some conversation.

Eurus then had a new trouble; the tail. He twisted his neck around, trying to dodge the tail hitting him repeatedly in the face. Finally, he gave up, and the furry mass completely obscured his vision. Didn’t matter; the ground was flat now, and the castle was straight ahea- he stopped suddenly, loosened his grip on Beatrice, and sucked in his breath dramatically.

Then he sneezed.

Damn tail.

She emits a low purr.

"Most people like cats better than dogs. I don't see why. Dogs are inbred animals used for the sole purpose of hunting. They drool and smell. Cats, however," she turns to watch him, "are a much more graceful side of the equation." she nods slowly, as if to emphasize her point.

Beatrice's tail quickly snaps away from Eurus' face just in time to avoid the sneeze. Bea gives him a weird look. "You're allergic to cats?" she asks, eyebrow raised. Her tail lowers and contently flits around her legs as his arms wrap more around her. As he loosens his arms around her, she flails, and quickly wraps her arms around his midsection in an attempt to keep her from falling over.

For a cat, Beatrice was very, very unbalanced.
