I'm looking for players willing to play one or two of Konpeitō Hatsu's internet friends who were sent to the island. One would make the most sense, but I don't mind more. They also don't have to be supernatural. They could have come due to a family member being supernatural or getting tangled up in other things. The character will likely be Japanese or communicated on the Japanese side of the internet.
Alternatively, I'm also interested in characters who knew Kon's dad, who was an information broker named Hideyoshi Tanaka. When he was arrested for the slavery stuff, his work was also exposed. It's likely his place was raided before his stuff could be sold off or given to his extended family, which he kept at a distance. These characters could be yakuza members, family, etc. Kon would also likely recognize them from name, or in the case of family, pictures.
Some information about Kon before the island, for online friends:
Was a female Nek0 named Sprinkles. With access to the internet, he built up an online persona that he used to interact with others. He refused to show his face and reveal his name. His excuse for revealing so little information about himself was his overprotective dad (which he very much protected the honor of when criticized). It also explained his weirdness and ignorance around certain aspects of pop culture and society in general.
Since coming to the island, Kon has been revealing more about himself but is still keeping things vague as he figures out how to redefine his persona. He's come out as trans (which pushed some friends away), is going by Kon Hatsu, has moved out from his abusive dad, and is no longer living in Japan. His lie for his secretiveness is that he's avoiding giving out too much information so his dad can't find him.
Other than your character knowing more or less all of those things (can always ask questions if you want them to be closer to Kon), it's free reign. I'm thinking Kon will recognize them first based on their pictures being online.
