Peacefully

Kristin wandered into the forest. She just felt like walking. Kristin loved nature, she sat down on a log looking up at all the tall trees. It was peacefully and she wish it could be like that all the time but sadly Kristin knew she would have to go back to the school.

Allie walked along the path looking at the birds singing and the tall trees kissing the sky, it was beautiful. The animals, in the forest seemed happy and gay building their little nests, the tune of the forest! Allie noticed a girl sitting on a log ahead of her, she walked over..... Hello, I'm Allie!.....

Kristin turned around, "Hey I'm Kristin" She said to the girl. Kristin looked back at the trees, then at the girl. "So what brings you at this far end of the forest?" Kristin asked the girl.

"Well I love animals, and the forest is so inviting... I could just sit here for hours, And listen to the birds, and the animals of the forest! But I have to head back for class soon too.... But there's always tomorrow"...

Suddenly a voice above them, smooth and perhaps a bit pretentious.
"Ah, you two, I believe I know you both...Allie and Kristin, was it not?"
Judas was perched on a low branch above them, looking rather tired.
"'Tis truly a beautiful place, but I'd beware as well, comrades."
He pointed out into the distant bushes and smiled as the sound of low feral growls echoed in the area.
"If only you two could see what I can see from my vantage point. A wild forest this is."
He chuckled.

"Are you following me?" Kristin said jokingly. He was certainly different from the people she met so far. Kristin didn't know why but she was in a happier mood then when she first met him. Kristin felt better about something.

Judas chuckled.
"Nah, I was just in the area, napping up in this branch waiting for that tiger. I wonder if you can eat tiger flesh? Then I heard you two chatting down below. Pleasant place."
The bushes a dozen feet or so away began to shake slightly.

“I think I’m starting to like it here, might even stay for good.” She said then added, “This is a nice place, but not as beautiful as the lake.” She was so in love with that lake, looking at it made her happier and more peaceful at the same time. But inside the school she couldn’t really find a place for her.

"Really? Didn't like your dorm? I figured you'd make a lot of friends, no?"

"Nope." Kristin only met one person in her dorm. "I'm not friendless, I have one. I'm fine with one." Kristin said, she didn't want to seem like some girl that no one liked, she was just going to meet and be friends with people in her own time.
