Cade looked up at her as he now learned the truth. Now who was this other person that she was apparently talking to. "Oh...well...uhh...who's Moe?" he asked.
Rae glared at him and pointed her finger to the spac beside her. "My best friend, duh." She sighed and wondered why everyone alwys wondered who was when they could obviously see her.
Cade just stared at the empty space beside Rae. There was nothing or nobody there. He was now more confused than ever. "I don't see anyone there." he said calmly.
Angry now that he would be so rude to her friend, Rae pushed away from the tree and glared at him. "Fine, if you're going to act like that, I'm leaving." She sighed and began to walk off, not sure where she would go now.
He quickly got up at the sight of her trying to steer away from him. He dashed forward and stopped in front of her. What in the world was she talking about. "Seriously, do you see anyone here? I'm not trying to be rude."
Rae frowned at him. "I truly do not understand why people do not think Moe is here. She's a human just like the rest of us. Why everyone insists she isn't here, I don't know." Her voice grew with exasperation as she spoke.
Cade just looked at her with a straight face. What was he supposed to do? Then an idea came to mind. "Oh...never mind. I see her now." He figured he would go along with it for now.
Rae looked at him closely. "Are you half-blind or something, Cade?" She asked, thinking if he was that would explain why he hadn't seen Moe by now. But of course he should have heard her voice by now. But she didn't think of that.
What a lie. He couldn't really see her friend. Right now he was just playing along, thinking she would be upset if she learned that he was really kidding. Still he could've sworn he was just hearing things. "Err...I dunno..." he answered.
Rae shrugged and began moving again. "Interesting...Well, I'm going to find something to do. If you wanna come, you can." She glanced over her shoulder at him, waiting for an answer.
