Brows furrowed, he scoffed then glared at her. "I heard that..." Stalker? What could she possibly mean? He had never seen this girl before! He breathed deeply then continued. "It was just a question. Geez. No need to get worked up about it." How ironic was that. It was usually him getting worked up about almost everything.

Rae relaxed her expression and nodded. "Okay. Whatever."

"He really is a stalker, Rae. Beware," Moe said.

"Shut up!" Rae sighed in frustration.

He raised an eyebrow as he this. Something was wrong, and Cade could feel that something just wasn't right. "Okay...uhh...I'm gonna shut up now." he then said, thinking she was really talking to him that way.

Turning to him, Rae frowned. "Why?" Or course, to her mind she thought that everyone around her could see and hear Moe, so she didn't understand why he would shut up when she had told Moe to. "If you shut up I'll have no one to talk to."

"Umm...what? Didn't you just say to me...err...never mind." Okay, now he was confused and a bit uncomfortable. Who else could she be possibly talking to, unless she was thinking loudly, which probably wasn't the case anyway. He shrugged off the weird thought then continued. "I must be hearing things, then. Name's Cade by the way."

"Why would you think you're hearing things?" Rae leaned casually against a tree and offered him a slight smile. "I'm Rae." Se looked around for something to do, but seeing nothing of interest, just stayed where she was.

Cade shook his head at her question. "I don't know. Normally I don't 'just hear things'. This never happened before. It just feels weird." he answered. He sighed in utter confusion, then seated himself in the grass, not caring if he would sustain set-in grass stains, and leaned against the trunk of the same tree where he had sat in.

He shrugged in thought. "Well, I thought I heard somebody saying 'shut up'." He paused for a sigh then continued. "Maybe I'm hallucinating. Maybe I'm slowly losing my mind. I don't know."

"You said shut up. Twice now," Moe reminded.

"I know exactly what I said!" Turning to Cade, Rae frowned at him. "I said that to Moe, not you."
