Peace and Quiet?

Sayonara wasn't bored. Oh, no, she wasn't. Nope, she thought, swinging her katana haphazardly around below her. Nope, it wasn't the reason why she was just sitting there, on the bend of the tree branch. The rocking tree branch that was just waiting to fall. Just waiting to snap.

But of course, due to her cautiousness and her weight, it supported her really well. Aside that, she was also fidgetting around with her clothes, getting to hot, then getting too cold, and then it'd be too windy. And then she whistled some tune off key, being the tone-deaf one. And saying "Yep," all the while, to nothing. Her lavender eyes sparkled from left to right, wondering, waiting. Yup, she was a good complainer. Especially to nothing.

She blew a stray strand of her silver hair out of her face. She was told it was prettiful, asked if she was growing old, which always got her slightly ticked. But for now, she didn't care, it didn't matter. All she had in her mind was...

"OH JEEZ, HOW MUCH LONGER ARE WE GONNA STAY HERE?" She whined very loudly for the umpteenth time to the quieter girl at the bottom of the tree.

Ohayo only shook her head. "The strange company disturbs me. This is only our first day. I have a right to stay away from everyone..." she trailed, her soft voice almost incomprehensive to anyone out of the ten feet radius. "Chloe." The other girl twitched. "I'm scared."

"Fine, I'll just stay out here whenevers. You keep soaking up the silence, while I find it irking much," she said, waving a hand, still pretty irritated.

The shyer girl only blinked at the figure above her and giggled softly at her friend's incompetence sortly after. She found no end to the amusement of (sorta) ticking her off.

Ember walked around the wilderness slightly down in the dumps. Her shoulders were slumped, bored written all over her face, she appeared to be more tired than despressed. As she continued dragging herself around, she heard something. It was the sound of a girl asking something. She wasa little to far to clearly hear what she had asked, so she kept wandering, more towards the direction of the voice.

When she got into viw, she saw two girls sitting on a tree. One was above ona branch and the other was at the bottom on a bench. A small smile grew on ember's sad face and went up to the girl on the bench."Is this seat taken?" She asked, pointing to the empty spot next to the girl.

"No." Ohayo's reply was soft, as she stared quite warily at the new girl. She was around their age, and quite a strange person to be wandering about in the wilderness. Knowing that she'd not get into introductions as quick, Sayonara swung her katana back onto the branch.

"Oi, what are you doing far from the school anyway?" she stopped in mid-sentence, considering the possiblities, then shook her head an continued, "If you even go to the school, and just came here to roam around their campus."

Well, what a wonderful greeting, Chloe, Ohayo thought in her mind, but tried a light smile in the direction of the newcomer. Hopefully, her friend won't just scare someone off again...

Ember smiled and took a seat next to the girl. The girl she was sitting next to was quiet and the girl above didn't say anything either.

What was Ember doing so far from school? She didn't even know. "Just wandering...I guess. I don't know." Ember gave a small laugh and said, "Yeah, I go to the school. Well, what are you two doing so far from campus, that is, if you even go to the school." Ember smiled.

"Oh yeah, I'm Ember."

"Eh, we've decided to come, but, I don't feel like going into the school yet," Sayonara replied quickly, swinging to the bottom of the branch. "And well, Ohayo, doesn't want to go either. Not yet. Plus, we don't like company."

She thought, finally deciding to introduce herself, "And I am Sayonara."

"Chloe," the other girl felt like mentioning.

"Yeah, if it's too annoying, you can call me Chloe."

The younger girl (by several weeks) scrutinized the girl, again. "Well, how's the school, then?"

So, the two girls were new, which explained why they were alone so far from school. They didn't like company. Ember felt weird when the girl had said that. Like she should leave, after all they didn't enjoy company.

They introduced themselve as Sayonara and Chloe. "The school is nice." Ember still felt odd, like she didn't belong odd, so she said, "It's nice to meet you both...but I guess I should be going, so you guys can be alone again...."
Ember said trailing off as she picked up her bag and began heading away, most liekly to go somewhere else.

[xD I made it confusing, sorry. One is Sayonara, also called Chloe, and the other is Ohayo.]

"Well, I don't really mind you here," Sayonara winked, "Breaks up the empty mood here. You don't seem like one who would eh, harm little Ohayo here, nor someone weird or anything," she said bluntly, wishing for company other than her friend.

'It's alright really. Hardly we have any contact with others," she said quietly, adding on to Sayonara's persuation.

"If it's alright me asking...how come you guys don't like comany?"

"Oh, it's really just her and her crazy shyness. She says she's only comfortable around her friends, and stuff," the older girl replied, still very, very bored. She swung her katana around, and around.

Ohayo only fidgeted in her seat, trying to smile slightly at Ember, and failing really badly. "Trusting...is really hard."

"I'm shy too....but not always, I've been working on being a little bit more open."

Ember saw how Ohayo tried to give her a smile, but didn't quite succeed. "I know, it's hard. Which is why I still can't trust anyone completely here."
