PAWN SHOP is a "licensed establishment" operating in the Underground, owned and ran by Eloise. It's a two-floor building with a wooden sign that reads the shop's name. It functions much like a regular pawnshop. They buy and sell secondhand items or take items as collateral for potential loans. Eloise will buy and sell any item, and since he's not from this dimension, his payment tends to be odd and arbitrary. At times, he would even barter instead of pay, and he is known to be bribed by good food and alcohol.

Eloise's favorite sort of items are the shiny, valuable, and unique. He's not hard to impress in this area. If what you're offering is something he has never seen before, and this includes things like bad paintings and furbies, he would likely give you much bigger price than you anticipate for said item. Almost inversely, complicated gadgets, jewelry, and dusty ol' artifacts tend to bore him terribly, so one would know better to pawn these off to regular non-quotation marked pawn shops. As such, Eloise's pawn shop also unofficially functions as a sort of museum for odd knickknacks eerily juxtaposed next to each other.

Despite the oddly shaped objects and their creepy eyes, there are no bad vibes in his shop. Eloise is a trained sorcerer, so he arranges his inventory based on similar auras and separates the ones conflicting with one another, the more powerful objects sitting next to windows and vents so their magic can flow out and avoid stuffing the room.

Since Eloise has no concepts of standards and morality, he also functions as a fence. He buys and sells expensive things and stolen goods, but he has enough common sense to stow those away in his hidden basement inventory. Eloise only shows friends and regulars the basement inventory. He's very wary of cops. Items in the hidden inventory include non-standard magical items, heavy weaponry, drugs, and art.

The PAWN SHOP's hours are pretty irregular. It's usually open around noon to afternoon, but it could open around midnight or early morning depending on Eloise's mood. Eloise also hosts card games during the weekend in his basement. Associates with an enthusiasm for gambling are welcome to join in.
