My character Stephan Hoffnung is a trained child psychologist who has been living on Manta Carlos for 35ish years. Can have old or new patients. Would be mostly 16 or less mentally. He specializes in trauma in young children, adjusting to society, and alien/eldritch psychology.
For connections, he has multiple personalities and was basically raised by an eldritch cult/family for the bulk of his life after being a child soldier and lab experiment. He's friendly and went through college at Starlight Academy. He could have made friends either as himself, or as Sascha, Apollo, Joseph, Sepp, and maybe Pauline. At work he'd only be Stephan.
