"Class, remember, I want to see you use your colour blending techniques on this project," Edwin stated as he crossed his arms in front of him and leaned back casually against his desk, his intense and dark blood red gaze moving from student to student, watching the class as they took out their watercolours and began working on their art assignment.
"I don't want to see sharp or bold lines or blocks of solid colour, and by the good graces of Claude Monet himself, please use more than shades of grey, dark blue and black," he remarked pointedly as he deliberately stared at a small group of students going through an "Emo" phase.
"Can we...?"
"No. You cannot. I do not want to see huge swathes of dark purple, dark red, dark greens, or browns. Those are not an option either, Mr. Ferris," Edwin remarked bluntly, cutting off the question before it could even be asked.
"I want to see sunny days, spring mornings, fields of flowers, rainbows, sunrises or sunsets, unicorns, and butterflies," he told them rather dramatically. "I want to see Manet and Van Gogh, not Goya and Carravaggio," he warned.
