He'd smile tiredly and lean up to give her a kiss on the cheek, "it sounds delicious," once she was finished he'd wrap his arms around her in a hug, his tail wrapping around them as well. He was so grateful that she cared and of course he cared about her just as mucb, "thank you."They'd have dinner, they'd sleep and he'd have a surprise breakfast ready for her the next morning. Then, everything changed.

He sat on her bed, they'd come, they'd told him and of course he'd told Eleanor. A car accident they'd said, she'd been hit and didn't make it, leaving just him alone with his dad. Kurt was quiet for a moment as he sat there, before the silent tears started to flow.
She hadn't been a good mother, he knew this, but she had still been his mother, and now she was gone. So Kurt didn't know how he felt about any of it, he felt confused and lost and alone.
