Cass giggled, expecting him to say something like that. “Everyone loves me,” she said. “I’m used to it, Seth darling. But I appreciate it hunny.” Cassiel winked. She wouldn’t let her dear cousin down – he deserved someone who would be good to him after everything he had been through. And maybe, just maybe, this Nikkolai would be the one.

Suddenly she stood from her seat, looking across the cafeteria, spotting someone who looked like what Seth had described. “Seth? That him? Oh bah don’t answer, I’ll find out in a second anyway.”

Without waiting for him to respond, Cassiel damn near ran across the cafeteria – well at least the best she could in her shoes – until she reached Nikkolai. She fixed her hair and pulled her shirt down a little to tighten it and looked down, examining herself. Good, she was in good shape for the bend and snap.

She tapped the young man on the shoulder with her index finger, which got him to look at her. “Excuse me, Nikki?” He nodded. Good. “I’m sorry; this’ll only take a minute of your time. Just have something to ask you.”

Cassiel hummed as she walked back to Seth, seeming nonchalant. She bit her lip and made no expression as to whether things had gone in their favor or not, walking with proper grace and with no excitement at all.

She sat down, looking at Seth’s anxious expression. It was at that point that she cracked. A smile broke over her lips, so excited that it spread into her brown eyes. Cassiel took both of Seth’s hands within her own and began to giggle, nodding her head vigorously.
