Open Out way too late and wandered way too far

"That's actually kinda awesome!"

Stefan listened to Broen talk. Hd didn't mind in the least. The details about her costumes and stunts. All of it was fascinating. It was good that he had someone there when he needed it. Everyone needed that at some point.

The question came and Stefan laughed a little. It was a two fold answer. Well....it was more than that but could be broken down easily.

"Well I was tired of only being 'Frejya's Boy' and not being known for anything I could do so I struck out on my own to find my mortal father. After finding him I kept having run ins with the law for supposedly drugging people. Only way they could explain how my singing caused visions. "

He shrugged a bit at the last statement.

Stefan laughed at the impression. He wasn't sure where it came from but it was amusing all the same. He was very much in Broen's camp of not getting how that was a big bad insult, but then again, when you're on the losing end of things, people tend to do what they can to salvage pride.

"Yea that makes no sense. Uh...I guess I'm more winging it. No real plan set in stone. Kinda hard to make plans when you make the.....3rd....4th... person I've met here."

Before giving a number Stefan countered quickly on a single hand trying to recall his few encounters.

"But I'm thinking of the whole singing thing, got an ability to put out illusions while singing why not use it?"

Stefan pursed his lips together approvingly and nodded a little as Broen spoke of getting his degree back. It didn't seem the figure standing before him was a qualified chef, but that was far from the strangest thing that he had seen or heard since coming to the island.

"Oh yea. I'm sure I'll get along fine. I'm never really ever out."

A chuckle came to his lips. His mind circled back to Broen mentioning they RE-issued his degree to him. Hopefully it wasn't too touchy of a subject, because Stefan was about to bring it up.

"You said they re-issued your degree? What happened to it initially?"

Stefan raised his eyebrows and blink a few times behind his mirrored sunglasses. This was a first for him. Then he remembered from his travels that people had talked about different universes existing all at once.

"Wait...like an alternate universe or whatever it is?"

He was actually genuinely curious. Was there another him out there in a different universe? Was that how all this worked?

"And yea having to start all the way over would have sucked hard."
