It all began with a question in the household: Has anyone seen Ossa? Usually the answer was something along the lines of "Oh yes! I think she is in the bathroom" or "Oh yeah, she is hiding under her blankets in her room again" or "She is in the kitchen, we don't know what she is doing but she looks like she is having fun". Ossa always like a shadow, you don't notice her most times but when you do look for her she is always just right behind you. So when she asked if anyone has seen Ossa, there was only blank expressions as everyone looked to each other. No one has seen her all day but everyone assumed that she was just out of sight so when everyone got up to look, it became a shock that she wasn't anywhere in the household. Some hoped that she would just turn up like she always does but... when she didn't magically appear the gravity of the situation was realized: Ossa is missing.

While everyone is doing their own thing to find Ossa, Amber felt that she would walk around the streets and hoped to find her sister just outside merely lost. Surely she would not be too far... yet deep down she feared the worst. Was she kidnapped just like herself a month or so back? Did a sociopath like that centipede nab her? Did she run away? She always thought herself close to Ossa but did not do enough? She... she should stop thinking about these horrible horrible things, she can't let these thoughts distract her from trying to find Ossa.

As she wandered through the streets, Amber every stranger that she could if they happened to have seemed a smaller brown haired spider-looking girl just like herself. The answer was all that same: "No" , "Sorry I haven't" , "Nope but good luck to you miss!". All the same answers every time she ask, she grew more and more distrast until she finally had her first lead from an elderly gentlemen who at first appeared asleep. She felt a little guilty to bother him but took a chance and as luck would have it he recalled seeing a girl fitting the description striding just past him a ealier that day. Now having a direction, she thanked the man and scampered down the path he last saw her. The further she went, questioning people along the way, more reports of sightings came to and made her confident that she was going the right right direction. With every new piece of information, Amber continued to close in on wherever Ossa was until she passed by a dark ally when a glint of light garnered her attention.

After some pause, Amber investigated and found it was sunlight reflecting off a strand of silk. It was no ordinary spider-silk, it was the thicker silk used by all of her members of her spider family so... Ossa had to be here! Traversing deep in the dingy alleyway, Amber continued to find more and more stray strands of silk until at last she discovered a web. Amber tested the strength of the web by applying a bit of force from one of her spider-like legs. Confident that it would hold her, she proceeded to climb onto the web. As she climb she could make out the outline what what she believed to be her sister?

"Ossa?! Is that you?" she asked, but she didn't wait for a response scampered across the web to hug the figure that she was sure was her sister as she exclaimed "OSSA!? OH MY GOSH! You had us all worried! W-why are you out here all b-by yourself!?"

Ossa wasn't sure what she was trying to do here. Everyone had been talking over eachother at home. Phaedra was getting included in the grownup talks. Dalia wasn't being happy. Amber was just too school. Her sisters were all growing up but Ossa was left alone as a baby spider and not a growing-up spider.

She wanted to be big too. She wanted people to pay attention to her sometimes. She wanted to be the one to fight off mean people like Dalia and her mom did. She wanted to be big and strong. Able to fight off that giant bug like mama and Ma-ara. She wanted to be smart like Chloe, but words never made sense. She could never make them come out in sentances like she wanted to.

Ossa had left early that morning, before the others would be looking for her. She had left crumbs on the counter from her breakfast so no one would look for her when they made breakfast for everyone else. Why would they? Ossa was just a baby, where else would she go?

Where would she go? School was gross and she'd get caught visiting the butcher. No more E-ix and no more grandpas. Shay didn't like babysitting. Hated it. No where to run to in an island. Ossa wandered aimlessly, hiding from people passing by. Not that she was able to actually hide on a street full of people. Some of them saw her. Some of them tried to stop her. Ossa ducked into an alley way, where sun didn't reach.

She built a web, spanning the whole wall, and climbed up, trying to find herself something to do. Ossa settled on people watching, as she hadn't brought anything with her. For hours on end, Ossa watched the people go by, starting to get hungry - and starting to wonder how they would taste.

The spiderling was snapped out of her day dreaming by a tugging on her web, and then another weight upon it. She peered down through the dark - Amber had found her. How long had she been gone, for her sister to come looking for her?

"I wanted quiet. Lonely. Don't mad... Is mama mad at me?"

"Huh? Why would you-" Amber paused, did she really think they were going to be mad at her? That statement really caught her off-guard. She looks to her dearest sister, smiling warming and shaking her head, despite Ossa's fears she was never mad at her. "No Ossa, I'm not mad at you. I was worried, scared that something may have happened to you. I was- we all were worried when we realized you were not home. But now that I see you here, I am realized."

Amber shifts her arm during the hug to pat her gently on the head. She truly was relieved to have Ossa here. But, could she really blame her for wanting to be all alone in household as crazy as their own? Ossa was always a bit of a black sheep in the family. And unlike her and Dalia, her own father wasn't nearly as involved in her life as Chloe and Malara. With so many other people coming and going in the household, could she blame her sister in trying to escape? Dalia has been trying to avoid being at home and even she wanted to get out of the house every now and then. Amber sighed, it was a hectic day but now she doesn't have to stress over Ossa anymore. Question was if Ossa was now ready to return home now.

"Ossa... did you need a little more time by yourself? You have been gone for several hours. We dont have to go home right away but we shouldn't keep everyone worrying and waiting." Amber paused, shifting her gaze out the allyway before looking back to Ossa. "You know... we are both pretty alone right now... if you like to talk... I can listen if you like. I know people are waiting but... we have a little bit of time for you to get some things off your just chest without anyone else prying in."
